Todd Lockwood, Wayne Reynolds, and Larry Elmore were the clear standouts on the first Favorite Artist poll, with Tony DiTerlizzi garnering the most write-in votes.

So now, in honor of March Madness, the Final Four has begun. Who will emerge victorious? Your votes will decide. Let the battle begin!

Hey, guess I'm the first to vote. Todd Lockwood, baby!

Tho I like most of the other's work as well. Not to mention Quinton Hoover, Rebecca Guay and the Foglio Brothers.

There were two I wanted to vote for, and two I don't wanted to vote for.

Finally, I decided against DiTerlizzi, as he has much less contributed to D&D 3 than Todd Lockwood.

I voted again for Lockwood, but with some reservations.

I think WAR is fantastic, and I think Sam Wood is fantastic. I think these three really had a significant and positive impact on the face of D&D. I think Lockwood has created some fantastic covers and mural-type work, while Wood has really offered some great dark stuff. I think WAR is offered some powerful, kinetic images. I don't think we could really appreciate any one of these guys (and the dozens of other artists out there who may not have been mentioned) without appreciate another.

But, I still voted for Lockwood.

Huh? By Foglio brothers, do you mean Phil and Kaja? Cause if so, Kaja's not Phil's brother, she's his wife :) Or are there other Foglio fantasy artists out there that I am unaware of?

Though technically they're not in the poll, I'll vote for The Brothers Fraim. :) Although (again technically) they're not D&D artists, I think that they capture the spirit of the game better than anyone since Otus and Trampier.
