With that last information, I'd say Evil.

Does he have some kind of personal code that he follows (spoken or unspoken)? If he does, then he's Lawful; otherwise, I think he'd be Neutral.

I'd say both of those would be pretty darn evil, only in different ways...
 



I'd say NE, maybe CE but not likely. The thing is, with a personal unspoken code, he probably believes himself to be lawful. But killing people that just get in his way makes that iffy. Neutral Evil is the way to go with this one.

Unless killing people that get in his way is part of his code. In which case, that's Lawful.
