Happy to see gnomes doing well.
Agreed! Gnomes are cool.
Nothing appeals to me about warforged. The races are the biggest turn off of Eberron for me.
I cannot relate - at all - to this. Warforged are awesome! Kalashtar are cool! Changelings are incredible characters! Dragonmarks are great! Shifters . . . exist!

The races were probably the biggest draw to Eberron for me. However, you're entitled to your opinion. I just vehemently disagree.

I find the human part of kalashtar a massive turn off my self.

I wouldn't be surprised if this divide is the primary motivating factor for people liking or disliking the setting.

I actually sold off all my warforged PC minis. I should has asked if anyone here wanted them :p

I really like the warforged, but I really don't want them to become a generic D&D thing. They fit Eberron perfectly, but would feel really out of place in many other settings.

In general, I feel the setting should have their bespoke lists of species, this will make them more distinct. Not every setting needs to have everything.

Totally agree. I wouldn't want to be a Warforged in the Forgotten Realms, Theros, or any other world (except maybe Exandria with its Aeormatons). My own world has its own construct race, which are golem-people with 5 different subraces (clay, gem, metal, stone, glass), built to fit my world. Warforged are too intrinsic to Eberron to fit into most D&D worlds.

With the exception of humans, I try not to repeat a lineage / heritage / race / subrace if I can remember playing a PC of that type clearly. I've played a lot of characters, but there are still a lot of options I have yet to try. That being said, I enjoy certain options more from a mechanical and lore perspective - and those are deep gnomes, humans and tieflings.

It is neat to see elf and dwarf neck-and-neck in popularity.

But when combining elf and half-elf, it surpasses human in popularity.

Warforged are golems. They seem fine in many of these settings.

What is the difficulty?
