I surf the net, chat up EnWorld like crazy, work on my homebrew, write reviews for rpg products, sleep, watch Walker Texas Ranger and generally just take life a day at a time.

Well ... I am a comp admin (mostly a tech and a "setup" person responsible for the network, the backups, setting up new machines, etc., etc.). I also do some website work and database stuff. :D

I'm a strategic planner at an advertising agency (one of the biggest agencies in the U.S.).

That's my job title; it tells you very little about what I do. :)

What I do is make sure that the guys who *write* ads (copywriters and art directors, who are collectively referred to as "creatives") understand the people who are the targets of the ads.

If every one of our ads targeted hip urban folks, then they wouldn't need me, because the creatives would understand that target (since it's them!). But, when a 25-year-old writer who has a shaved head, tattoos, and likes to wear black, needs to understand a mom, or a senior citizen, or whatever, that's when I'm important.

I do a lot of research, both surveys and focus groups, but a lot of what I do is just read a lot, internalize it, and think a lot.

I work as a "paperwork processor" at a moving company, and I've filled the same role at other offices in the past. That's never been my official title, of course, but it sums up what I do pretty well. Keeping all the various office files populated with all the right paperwork, filled out with the correct info, and filed in the proper place so everyone can find the information they need to do whatever job in the office needs doing. Maybe "information processor" would be more accurate, since I keep electronic files in order as well.

It's pretty boring from an objective sense, and I wish whole-heartedly I was good at something meaningful and creative, but... it's important work, I'm good at organizing, and it pays the bills.

Outside of work, I surf the web, post on message boards, read books and comics, listen to music, snuggle with my cat, play computer games, and chat with friends. Ironically enough, I also serve as the virtual paperwork processor for my RP group's IC and OOC logs as well. Organizing and research is in my blood, I suppose...

Peace & Luv, Liz

I'm 33, and a professor of neurobiology at a university, so my job keeps me pretty busy. I tend to work a lot in my lab on stem cell research and toxicology as well. I am also the primary pre-med academic advisor for my university (since I went to med school as well).

Outside of my job, I love hiking, weightlifting, playing with my dogs, reading, painting minis, computer games, movies, and gaming (when my buddies can get together). I am not married and don't have kids, so my time is all my own when I get home. :D

I'm a student studying Economics, I work in a bookstore, and my free time goes to my girlfriend.

I'm looking for a new job, though. You know anyone hiring? ;)
