What do you want to see in the final issue of Dragon?

I would like to take a walk down memory lane and see some stats for Venger.

I would like to also see the Sage stop talking in the third person.

I would like to see one more cover done by the great, the one and only, Larry Elmore. Must have a dorky little creature next to a totally hot fantasy big busted chick in armor and wielding a sword.

One last "how to deal with power gamers" artilce.

I think it would also be great if on the final page of the final issue they said, "Happy Late April's fool's, we are not giving up the physcial copy, Dragon lives on, as does Dungeon. PDF's BLOW!!!"

Oh, and maybe convince Gary to give out the old AD&D and then updated 3.5 stats for Mord, Bigsby, Evard, Tenser and others of note. I would be happy if that was all that the final issue containted.

Alone with one final article from the man himself, Gary Gygax, where are you?

A one page farewell would be great boon to all of us.
Though I would love just for the old AD&D stats for all those mentioned. I would do the converting myself if I had just that little bit.
But I think he still states that since they are still current NPC's in campaigns he runs that he won't release them. So I think we are looking at them not being released except in a Last Will and Testament.

That would be cool as well. :p

I think it would be cool to also have an article to figure out your real world stats. We did that once back in the AD&D days. We made up some rules for how to figure out your real world stats and played them as PCs. It was actually a lot of fun. You didn't have to do a lot of role-playing, because you were you. If there was ever a question about if you could do something, you just had to do it in the real world and the DM allowed it. Of course we still banned knowledge of gun powder and non fantasy stuff to keep the spirit of AD&D. I think I had something like:

STR 17
INT 13
WIS 11
DEX 13
CON 16
CHR 15

Of course, that was in my youth when I could lift a lot more and could run 10 miles non stop. :) ;)

Cigs, don't ever start :uhoh:

EDIT: of course 3.5 would be different. I wouldn't even begin to know how to do it today. As an example, I can drag/pull a lot of weight, I have really strong legs, but I don't think my upper torso could match the same amount as the STR score would indicate.

Some of these requests shall come true. Some won't. But I'm not going to spoil any more than that... ;)

Venger and the brats from the animated series have already been statted up in the liner notes of the DVD collection.

So out of 7, you have eliminated 2 from being there with the final statement. And I do believe someone mentioned Elmore earlier as being a likely possiblity.

2 of the remaining 4 are Gary requests, so a fairly good chance of one of them happening. Though my money would be on 1 page article.

I think one last request is a last installment of Bizzare of the Bazaar.
