6'8" Fighter says to the 6'2" Barbarian and the 5'9" Druid: "The good news is one of us remembered to wear their tent. The bad news is that it was her." Points to the 4'11" elven ranger.

He pulled the greak cloak close in about him to keep out the evenings chill as he continued along the way. The slouchhat upon his head hid his face beneath its shadow but his eyes were yet intense and seemed to glow. His shirt was worn from use as was his weathered browned and toughened skin. He walked with a gait well use to travelling, the muscles beneath his trousers and the cut of his wellmade but well worn boots confirmed that this was a man who had seen many roads and slept often beneath the open sky. At his hip there hung a duelist blade and beside it the butt of his pistol (or crossbow) his hand never far from this too common tool. Looking up towards the setting sun he adjusted the weight of his Haversack and continued towards the City...

Shelter: An easier way to carry your shelter around with you is the oilskin leather raincloak. This is the D&D version of the US (and German, and...) Military rain poncho. A leather cloak, with hood, which has been treated with oil to make it waterproof. Buttons down one side, and button-holes along the other, allow it to be closed up, tight, in bad weather. A drawstring in the hood, and another at the waist, help keep the storm winds out. An extended storm flap, with an additional row of buttons, also help. You might also like leg straps, on your version.

Oooo! That's going in my backpack!

Don't be too harsh on the traditional woolen cloak though. Get one that has a leather lining around the hood and shoulders and it should keep most light rain off there is also a unique and lifesaving property of wool; it retains it's insulation even when wet so even if you are soaked to the bone it will still keep you warm similar to a modern day wetsuit used in diving. As a matter of fact when I go backcountry hiking I carry a heavy wool cloak with me. It may be a few centuries out of fasion but you get caught up in a freak storm at 500 virtical feet and 20 kilometers from anything and it's a lifesaver... literally.

My half-orc wizard dresses somewhat like Captain Morgan, minus the hat and hair. Frilly shirt, red coat with gold buttons, black trousers, knee-high boots. Wears a gold monocle on a chain. Walking stick serves as a club.

My current character wears bronze breastplate, greaves and gauntlets, a bronze mask and a large cobalt blue cloak.
There’s a link to a pic a friend did for me over in the “What does your character look like” thread.

Nothing, adventure naked: charm, shock, embrassed, or shame your foes my character says but then he is 20th level...before that he was a tank! ;)

Walking boots, toes re-enforced: Dark Brown
Leather slacks: Dark brown
Loose shirt: Green
Leather vest: Tan
Hooded Canvas rain slicker: Tan
Knife in right boot
Hand axe: belt center
Long Sword: Left hip

My current PC has a 30 dex, so not much :)

She has an all white gauzy dress type thing for everyday -part of a religious thing-
But her battle outfit as it is currently: tight black simple cloth (not leather), black cloak, black boots, and black gloves. All of it has strange designs marked mostly in scarlet red, but also marked very limited in big bird yellow. She also carries a scarlet cloth mask to occationally put on.
