Funny how many people in this thread are choosing the same games that I chose in the other thread, where you wished they used a different system.

James Bond 007. The system wasn't knock your socks off good, but it was serviceable and the adventure support was great.

Yeah, in my book WEG Star Wars hits that #1 spot, easily.

Honorable mention goes to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Other Strangeness. I don't think it's the best, but as far as timing of its release and the TMNT craze of the late 80s, you can't do better.



You know, there's something to that. It's outlasted just about every other licensed IP RPG that I can think of.

It burned brightly for a short while indeed. I remember playing plenty of After the Bomb as well.

Mayfair DC, (Second Edition particularly) deserves mention. IT wasn't perfect, but did a solid job.

WEG Star Wars was my favorite. It was really fun.

I've always wanted to try TMNT, but never got around to it. Don't know if it was good, but it looked fun too. I owned Ghostbusters, but did not play that either.

WEG Ghostbusters was pitch perfect and ahead of its time.

The Fate-based Atomic Robo RPG is also beautifully realised and appropriate.
