Wizards and Wiseguys for D20 Modern - coming from RPGObjects in July

Chicago sounds like an excellent choice for a sourcebook- especially since I already have Chaosium 1920s books for New York, San Francisco, and New Orleans. :p

Looking forward to this!

I'm considering getting this. Ironically, I'm a bit hesitant because of how short it is. The subject seems too good to do it justice in just twenty pages.

Length was something I wrestled with on this project.
Ideally, I'd like it to be 3 to 5 times as long.

But realizing that I was submitting it to electronic publishing market (first to World Forge Magazine and then RPGObjects) it seemed smarted to follow what seems to be the pdf marketing strategy of producing smaller and cheaper products, assessing customer response and then releasing follow-up products (or not) in response to the enthusiasm level.

We've already got one supplement approved and being written that fleshes out the Prohibition Era in America - and we've proposed a second one dealing with the Great War.

The Allies hold the upper hand in Abjuration, Necromancy, Illusion and Transmutation. However the Central Powers are more advanced in the study of Evocation, Divination and Transmutation.
I assume there's a typo here, since they can't both be the best at transmutation. Also, in your original post you said that magic was prohibited in the 1930s, but the excerpt later on says that it was in 1920.

You are correct on both counts and thanks for the catch.

The Central Powers have the edge in Transmutation.
The Constitutional Amendment banning sorcery was passed in 1920.
