How on earth could it seem like a good idea to post those pics in reply to a request for handsome men who show skin? Would a photo of Angelina Jolie with a request for more in the same style make people think that the cow picture posted by Aloïsius was the kind of art the person wanted to see?

Well, a lot of furry fans also play D&D...

Is nudity okay by you as long as there are some non-human features?

I think Nifft is right on target here.

Whats the issue here? Is it Unrealistic sexy clothing or hot babes with sexy clothing? I can tell you that 90% of wotc wemon with sexy clothing are not in fact sexy. This is because of ether the pose, or the face or some other thing really gets in the way of the sexy, even if they are wearing boob armor.

The point here is that even though their are men who are not quite sexy, they still wear revealing clothing. Just because some people think this can be discarded because they are not attractive to some, the point is wtc doesn't just objectify wemon.

I don't think alot of wemon in wotc books are attractive. I would wish for them to work on better aesthetics for both men and wemon.

I also wish to see more nudity with creatures that would not wear clothing. Like angles, Demons (suckubus), and snake people, fey, and genies and stuff. Not all need to be naked but i think they should have a Greek sexuality (in case of the angles) or a exotic sexuality (demons or genies)

Remember way back when people were pointing to pictures of Conan and claiming that they demonstrated equality, because Conan wasn't wearing much more than the harem slavegirl clinging to his ankle? Remember that being stupid, because male bodies presented to appeal to men (see, eg, professional wrestling, He-Man, etc) aren't the same as male bodies presented to appeal to women?

This is the same argument again, except worse because now it has beast men too.

I suppose that if we deny any and all cultural cues or details about human sexuality, and just count up square inches of revealed skin, happily equating bare pectorals to bare breasts, things might not be all that different. But I think its fair to say we would be deliberately missing the point.

no but sexuality can be expressed strongly in ways that i cannot otherwise be expressed without using Nudity. The nude figure is as old as art itself, and their is nothing wrong with it. Also note, I said GREEK SEXUALITY, and EXOTIC SEXUALITY. not SEXUALITY

I think this thread is really starting to bring people together.

We've found that WotC has illustrations that manage to offend just about everyone. They just aren't the same illustration!
