D&D 5E WotC Shares Theros Table of Contents

WotC has shared the table of contents of Mythic Odysseys of Theros. Well, part of it, at least. Update -- thanks to "obscureReviewer" on Twitter, here's a fuller image!

Theros is out on Beyond. Mythic traits on monsters are cool.

The mythic monsters themselves are cool! I really like all three of them, and each of them could be used as boss-level monsters even for level 20 characters (especially Hythonia and Tromokratis) even without the mythic traits. With the mythic traits - well, let's just say even the highest level groups will have their work cut out for them!

Hythonia and Tromokratis could easily be used outside of Theros if you want a medusa or kraken end-boss or threat. Akrasta could definitely be a high-level worshiper of Lolth who was either "gifted" or punished (or both) with great powers but a monstrous form.

Honestly Akrasta could be used as a Lolth fight.

Well, for all who have been talking about Theros' place in the Multiverse, now that the book is out on D&D Beyond, this is what the text itself has to say about it:

"The world of Theros, as its inhabitants understand, includes three realms: the mortal world, the divine realm of Nyx, and the Underworld. They are three distinct planes of existence, tucked into their own pocket of the multiverse and shielded from the rest of the cosmos by the power of the gods. "
What is the world of Theros called. Just Theros. Or unnamed.

Do share. What are they.
Mythic Traits are boss traits for monsters. At their most basic it is pretty much a phase 2 of a boss fight. The Monster recovers healed in someway, and they gain new powerful legendary actions.

The most basic of them is Hythonia who sheds her skin to completely heal her damage, along with getting to reposition for free.

Mythic traits are also not taken into account for creating a monster instead it treated as having to defeat a monster twice. (So you will get twice as much xp from the monster as you would normally)
