One thing that I've noticed, is that the sheet sometimes gets confused if I make a bunch of changes at once. For instance, if I have a level 12 Wizard and change it to a level 12 Warlock, it might leave it some of the Wizard class text or it might miss some of the Warlock class text. It's always random when it does happen so I don't think there's anything you can do about it. This is more or less a warning for others: be sure to save a copy of your sheet in case something messes up when you are experimenting with changes. :)

Keep up the awesome work, MPMB!

I have noticed this as well. I think MPMB addressed the issue a page or two back and said it would be fixed for next update.

Hmm completely forgot about pratreon, might donate again I love this thing that much!

Also I saw in the 4E Monk Remastered Reformat thread in the Unearthed Arcana subreddit that the 4EM:R is getting some codding done by you and someone else, how far along would you say that is?

Feature request!

On the spell sheet in the "Change the first column" can we please get a "Ask Me" function so we can put in custom text, or simply a way to make it editable.

Noticed we couldn't edit the checkbox section when I was mucking around with 4E Monk and wanted to manually edit the Ki costs.

Unfortunately, the sheet isn't really designed to handle removing things that well. It's design has started out as something that can add stuff, but removing stuff is a whole different matter. If you had manually changed some of the class feature descriptions, the sheet will no longer know what it can and what it can't remove.

Even if you didn't manually change anything, having the sheet simultaneously remove things and add things might have it remove the wrong things (like the stuff it just added).

My recommendation would be, if you intent to do some big swap like changing the class, to first remove the class, let the sheet do its thing, and then save and close the sheet. Then, re-open the sheet and only then add the new class. This way the sheet gets an opportunity to properly remove stuff, and you can check if it did indeed remove everything. By re-opening the sheet, you essentially tell it to re-initialize without any of the old class' things in its session.

I know it is a bit of a :):):):):):) work-around, but I would have to re-do a whole bunch of code (2000 lines or something) to properly change this behaviour. With what I know now, I understand what I did wrong when writing the code. However, I don't suddenly have all that time to re-do something that essentially does what it is supposed to do ;)

The new version is up and available at DMs Guild (or via the Patreon's cloud share if you are a subscriber), but it doesn't do anything about the stuff Undrhil is describing, see my reply to his post.

The "Way of the Four Elements, Remastered" is available in the Fan-made Additions Dropbox folder as well as the GitHub folder :)

This is a good idea! I kinda hacked the ki cost thing into the code, once I realised I could have it make spell sheets for Monks as well, and it never really occurred to me to add a way of modifying this first field.

I'll look into this for the next version, after v12.84!

Thus, as hinted in my previous posts, a new version of the Character Record Sheet is available on DMs Guild, with some essential bug fixes for characters that use the companion page.

I urge everybody to skip v12.83 and update directly to v12.84. If you just imported your character to v12.83, please import it again from your old sheet directly to v12.84 to guarantee everything works as it should.

[H=6]Changelog for MPMB's Character Record Sheet v12.84 (21 February 2017):[/H]
 • NEW CONTENT: Addition of all 4 Sorcerous Origins from the Unearthed Arcana: Sorcerous Origins (with the help of /u/SoilentBrad, Toby L., and LamentingDemon);
 • NEW CONTENT: Added the Crag Cat and Hulking Crab from Storm King’s Thunder (as suggested by /u/Kelfina & Vladimir S.);
 • Added a way for the Direct Import to properly add the class features that were added using the ‘Choose Features’ button to third page’s ‘Notes’ section (as suggested by Robert N.);
 • Changed how the sheet recognizes things, making it easier to add homebrew that has similar names to things that already exists (e.g. adding a homebrew weapon called “punching dagger” was previously impossible, as the attack fields would still only recognize it as a “dagger”);
 • Added a way to exclude armour based on source (although there isn’t a button for this in the dialogue yet);
 • Added a way for any type of armour to get calculated with a secondary ability score modifier;
 • Added a way for armour to force a 0 for the Dex mod to be added to AC;
 • Added a way for spells to be excluded, based on spell name, from the spell selection dialogue;
 • Fixed several things related to ability scores that weren’t importing, including the values in the ability scores dialogue, manually set saving throw proficiencies, and saving throw modifier fields (thanks Robert N. for reporting);
 • Fixed a critical bug that prevented making companions and importing characters with a companion (thanks Taed for reporting);
 • Fixed the saving throw of “Erupting Earth” (thanks Vladimir S. for reporting).

Awesome, thanks for that.

Really liking the new sheets, but has anyone done the new Warlock UA material?

marioinfinity made a V1 back on page 141, I know it doesn't set armour and weapon proficiencies buts that's all I found from my quick test.

Edit: Also can the older Favoured Soul go into the Dropbox/Github folder. Rather have and never use it then not have it and want it.
Edit2: Not sure if intentional but there is two Favored Soul sources but they both give the updated FS features.
Edir3: Never mind about the first Edit found the Legacy folder. I'm an idiot.

Some people have been working on it and have send me their progress, but none of it is in working other just yet. I also don't have an ETA for when it will be done.

As there are two Favoured Soul subclasses now, which are both part of the 'optional sources' in the sheet, you will have to make sure you include and exclude the right sources or archetypes for the sheet to know which one you want to select.

If both are included, the sheet will default to using the latest version.

So if you want to use the Favoured Soul from the Unearthed Arcana: Sorcerous Origins, you only have to make sure that the source "Unearthed Arcana: Sorcerous Origins" is included.

If you want to use the Favoured Soul from the Unearthed Arcana: Modifying Classes, you have to make sure to either exclude the source "Unearthed Arcana: Sorcerous Origins" or exclude the subclass "Favoured Soul" from that source.

Please note that the code in the legacy folder hasn't been kept up to date and is only guaranteed to be compatible with the version of the sheet that is listed in the file.

Leatherhead

Possibly a Idiot.
Ok, I have a bit of a question here.

I am probably not seeing how to to do this naturally, but how do I make this work?

Specifically, I want just the damage box filled out, to help my players learn how their class works. But every time I select a nul value for the ability score (because these aren't ability score dependent), the damage box goes blank. I've tried using the Manual Damage Die Mod, but it still shows up blank without an ability score selected.
