While reprinted, these races have all been updated to the current standard used by WotC for D&D races used in Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, including a free choice of ability score increases (increase one by 2 points and another by 1 point; or increase three by 1 point), and small races not suffering a movement speed penalty.

The video below from Nerd Immersion delves into the races in more detail.

No sale. Easy pass. Haven't purchased a 5e WotC product since November 2018. I've purchased lots of 5e 3rd party stuff, though. And other RPG stuff. I just don't think I'm WotC's marketing target.
3rd party publishers will probably go the same route.
Tribality publishing already follows the new design principles.

So ignoring another 4e warlord discussion.
even this... like I said up thread, he couldn't just ignore it he had to call out that it should be ignored... becuse anyone saying that we need better martial classes should be ignored, shut down, or ridiculed (No not trying to call you out @Remathilis but this was just a great example to pull up)

Regarding movement speeds: my wife is shorter than me and has shorter legs, but generally walks as fast or faster than me - and I'm a fairly long-legged, lanky fellow. I'm sure there are many, many examples of why height or size is not a determinant of movement speed.
Does your wife stand at a mighty 91 centimeters (approximately 36 freedom units) in height versus your astonishing 182 centimeters (approximately 72 freedom units) in height? Because these are the kind of proportional differences we're talking about when it comes to Small versus Medium creatures in D&D. And that will have a huge impact on how many kilometers (or freedom units) one walks per round.

The closest thing to a "5E" Warlord is the EnWorld Noble class with the Tandem Tactician UA feat.

Look I didn't say I was gonna be full of good ideas.

Well, they might address it sooner, depending on their product schedule. Too soon to say.
You’re right. They might. Unless it’s in the form of errata for the MM, though, it still won’t change what’s in that book.

See, I’m not really upset about the specific changes they’re making. Same with the changes they recently made via errata.

It’s the way in which they are making these changes that I don’t like.

That's the mystery to me. Now that they're showing they're willing to walk back a lot of the elements put into place to appeal to nostalgia and 'legacy' via the playtest, why not go back to the well of things they intentionally left out for those reasons. There's no longer a need to dance around Warlords.
So, uh, what's the big deal with Warlords? I keep hearing people talk about them but I have no idea what's up.

Go start a warlord thread then. I want to discuss the 30 races and what will change in them.
