okay, now explain how the good god blames the concept of good for the actions of the evil king (evil in the end not the beginning)100% I think we are coming to the same page here. I agree with this completely.

The idea that the Kingpriest turned evil is not supported by what Paladine said. He said it was the height of Goodness and the Kingpriest was Good.OK, we agree.
I think this is our issue here. They dont just immediately 'switch to evil', but indeed "the road to hell..." and all that right?
Kingpriest.
Knights.
Elves.
All were Good. All then lead to the same road of intolerance, distrust, and "its my way or the highway". Not that they all agreed with eachother, but they all became a bit too full of themselves.
What it looks like to me, is a LG King, loses himself, and through his actions has an alignment shift to LE. Evil in the world is being driven to extinction, and the pendulum cannot swing.
Fizban's quote still holds.

It's obvious Scribe is retconning changes to the story to explain the ridiculousness of Krynn morality.okay, now explain how the good god blames the concept of good for the actions of the evil king (evil in the end not the beginning)
I liked David Eddings take on LG with Sir Sparhawk. One of my favorite paladins. Another great LG paladin is Michael from the Dresden Files.A singular interpretation of LG, or LG taken to an extreme, is bad. We even see this at times in the novels, with Sturm. Its not like the "LG Paladin, unable to be in a party with a CN Rogue" tropes and behaviors right?
The issue again, is thinking there is only one possible view on Good. One possible view on LG.

Political power, and probably appropriated arcane magic. And how was the Kingpriest threatening the whole world when he was limited to 2nd level spells?
Paladine had to murder an entire city, caused untold devastation to BOTH sides of a planet, just to stop his own good aligned priest. It's just silliness.
There is no supporting information that he was a wizard or that there was a wizard working with him.Political power, and probably appropriated arcane magic.
He took possession of the Tower of Istar, along with all the magical gear it had. He had a spell of light around himself that was dispelled by Raistlin. He canonically used renegade wizards, including Fistandantulus, to create his thought police. There's plenty of evidence to suggest he used arcane magic to maintain his power. There is no supporting information that he was a wizard or that there was a wizard working with him.
I stand corrected then. I can't say that I followed anything past the original novels and modules. He took possession of the Tower of Istar, along with all the magical gear it had.
