Loki Season 2 Discussion - Spoilers

I did to, at first, but then started to question that assumption.
Given that we have a character called Ouroborus, it seems likely that we'll be seeing some serious cyclical -time weirdness going on here.

I need to watch the episode again, but it feels like there may have been a couple of scenes featuring seemingly random background characters that we may come around to seeing from those characters' perspective later in the season.

We have two primary characters with very similarly derived names; Ouroboros, the snake that devours its own tail, and Mobius, who is named after the mathematician who is responsible for the Mobius Strip, a geometric construct with no beginning or end, no top or bottom.

I wonder if that was foreshadowing something? It sets the standard that the subjective time between when you've travelled and have done something, is the objective time, for those who remain, before the thing gains traction in 'current' reality. How much time you have to fix something, before it's done and dusted?
Note that this could in theory just be a TVA thing. Since time slipping isn't even supposed to be a thing in the TVA, its possible there is a delay in the time updates.

Or it could literally just be the new standard use in marvel movies, but they have the option if they want it to just be a Loki plot device without making it an MCU standard.

Solid first episode. Great pacing, we got some answers but also a lot more questions, digging it so far.

I do hope this season will help to "clarify" exactly what the impact of the end of Season 1 was, as its still unclear if what we are seeing in the rest of the MCU movies is a direct result of what happened here, or if its happening in parallel, or what.

I still like the show. I don’t know why it’s called Loki, or the main character is called Loki. Because that’s not Loki, it’s just some hapless panicky dude.

A great sci fi show which should have a different name.
I do have that thought every once in awhile also

That’s because he’s not the same Loki. He literally had it slapped out of him over and over again last season.

At least, if this season’s trailer is anything to go by, he’ll be using his magic more this season.

That's how I felt about the first season, too. It's like they came up with the idea for the show and then grabbed a random character from the Marvel Toybox to fit into it. You could have had Tony Stark, Bucky Barnes, or Pepper Potts filling the same roll, and the story wouldn't have changed much.
