What dead game would you resurrect?

For pure nostalgia reasons, WEG’s Star Wars. Cut my teeth on that game, was the first ttrpg I ever gmed. Ahhh, memories.

Lot of love for Alternity here, warms my heart. It's #1 on my list, with the "standard" AlternityRPG.net house rules and the original campaign settings:

• Star•Drive
• Dark•Matter
• Gamma World (5e rules with 4e content)

I'd like to see Star Frontiers and Buck Rogers XXVc again... as modified D&D settings.

I really liked the idea of Birthright, but I had some trouble fitting it into the AD&D adventurer paradigm.

Back in '17 or '18, Mike Mearls was running some 5E Star Frontiers and Gamma World games at Cons, testing the waters.

It's been since 2010. How long before they lose the trademark? As I understand it (which could be wrong) you have to actively upkeep a trademark. It doesn't have the same life+ protection as copyright. Or is it considered actively kept up so long as they sell legacy GW content?
