Ryujin
Legend
I also watched it, maybe 2 weeks ago, and the singing was putting me off. Definitely a product of its time, which usually isn't an issue for me.I was just watching the Hartnell Tombstone episodes a little while ago and it comes up as a joke. He has to register and put names down at a hotel and the companions have been calling him "Doctor" so he puts down "Doctor Caligari" for himself. I believe it is either Wyatt Earp or Bat Masterson who says "Doctor Who?" at which the Doctor chuckles and says "Yes, precisely."
I don't really care for the repeated narrator singing of the episodes but I am enjoying the word play identity setup shenanigans of "The Doctor" and "Doc" Holiday.
