I stand corrected. I only read the SRD and its not in there. I take it Dungeon World was snubbed specifically because of the problematic co-author so fair enough.

They credit the game and designer who originated the specific PBTA Agenda and Principles ethos, they take nothing from DW.

The credits and “inspired by” portion is remarkably detailed and helps point people towards other games if they really find some element engaging.
 

Has anyone attempted to play online yet? And, if so, how did you do it? Demiplane and Roll20 or some other combination?
I played in one the one shots over on startplaying. Found a great GM there who I might even be willing to pay to play with again if schedules can line up.

He used Owlbear.rodeo and demiplane. There is no integration between these and owlbear lacks a duality die roller so we rolled on our own and he trusted us. We got lucky with a set of players who all played clean so that worked. In a new players to a one-shot maybe people who might cheat are more willing to be honest so they can see how the game handles bad rolls, or maybe we got lucky.

I used to cheat my rolls a lot when I was a kid in the 80s and into early adulthood. To cure myself of it back then I bought a set of giant dice - all of them 2-3 inches in size. My rolls were super obvious after that and I just adopted a perspective of being there for the story and not my own PC. It worked... but for online if a player is still carrying a juvenile 'win' mentality you'd want an online die roller.

roll20 doesn't have duality dice either - but you can see your demiplane character sheet in it. That has a duality die roller, so if the GM can see it you'd be set. But I get not wanting to use roll20 as I'm in the same boat.

There is a Foundry community working on Daggerheart right now over in discord. They've disabled invites so you'll have to ask about it on the daggerheart discord and get an invite. Right now they are working on talking with Darrington to be sure they're legally in the clear before anyone starts coding anything.
 

They may be playing deliberately slowly to allow the audience to keep up and get familiar with the mechanics? I haven’t watched it yet.
I haven't watched the episode yet as I'm traveling, but I suspect that's possible. The cast has already played a lot of the system and during the launch party many of them noted they'd also been GMing it regularly.

I was actually impressed by that as I've never seen any tRPG ever credit another for any inspiration or even set of ideas taking whole cloth from another game outside of just having a license on the back page.

Maybe that's a new trend, it wasn't a thing back when I was around 20+ years ago, and I've only been in Pathfinder since returning. Not being used to it, to me it felt more like an unusual allocation of page space.

Here is a fun question:

What media (other RPG, video game, movie, cartoon, novel, comic) setting do you think would make a great Daggerheart Campaign Frame? How would you implement it?
Detective style mystery drama. The sort where you investigate a scene and interview witnesses and suspects finding a lot of clues and putting the puzzle together through a mix of said clues and social interactions.

The narrative focus where players are expected to fill in scenes, explain what happens with a success or fail, and so on - these all seem like great ways to build that kind of story 'on the fly'.
