I don't know about the other people, but I am being negative about the poster cause it looks like crap. I am only judging it on the quality of the art. I still hope the movie will be good, and I'm not a Lucas basher who is going to judge it before he sees it... Just had to get that out. I felt you were reffering to me, at least in part.
I still think the first three posters were waaay better.

Howdy -

I agree however they aren't really teaser posters. Just regular posters.

There was a thread on their general coolness a while back, if memory serves.

Ditto Captain Howdy. I'm totally psyched for the new movie. All the spoilers, etc. have really whetted my appetite for RotS. I think it stands a chance of being the best of the six. The teaser poster actually deminished my enthusiasm a bit. If this poster was my only insight into the movie, I'd probably mark it as "more proof that Lucas has lost his edge."

I'm in the demographic who will be seeing RotS no matter what -- even if I heard it would be a one-man-show featuring Jar-Jar Binks. If I wasn't, though, this poster certainly wouldn't move me in that direction. Anything but.

Any chance we can see the other teaser posters?

I do like the poster but it just doesn't seem very forboding. It it gives the link, and looks cool but it does not forbode.

What would be good (apart from being a slight copy) is if it was the Fake, but instead of the reflection, Ann had his lightsaber (red) drawn and it cast the shadow of Vader.
