Inside of the tent, Tommi bites his lip. He hears the commotion outside, but sees little through the open flap of the tent as yet. Somewhere, Oh-Six is hovering, and Tommi has pebbles in his hand. He's out of breath, and he tastes the salt on the sweat rolling down his cheek to the corner of his mouth.

He's ready.

Legend
Lionel worked his way forward, pushing through tall grass and vines until he found a good spot under a large tree. He stood behind a raised root, and carefully aimed his crossbow. A large orc wearing the leathered armour of a boar rider began to move out of the crowd, and Lionel shot the orc in the back. As the orc spun around from the blow of the quarrel, Lionel quickly reloaded. Before the orc could even identify where the quarrel had come from. Lionel fired again and the orc fell to the ground.

By this time, the crowd was dispersing into a mad scramble. Most of the orcs pulled their axes and rushed toward the south, where Dornuk, Angis, and Vairar had invaded. They had come up behind the cover of a smoky campfire. Angis shot a quarrel into an orc shaman, then Dornuk stormed out through the smoke and knocked the shaman to the ground. Vairar was behind him, and couldn't get into it, so furious were Dornuk's mighty swings.

The orcs joined this scrum, all axes and arrows raining down on the group, who defended themselves valiantly. Dornuk warded off blow after blow, only taking one arrow to the shoulder, which was mostly padded by his armour anyway. Vairar was driven a few steps back under the furious assault of an orc so large that it must have had an ogre in its parentage, but again, he blocked the blows. An arrow shattered when it struck his helmet, shards of which scratched his face, but the elf held strong. One orc rushed past the crowd around Dornuk and Swung a mighty blow at Angis, who was still behind the campfire, changing out his crossbow for his axes as he ducked arrows that flew past him.

One orc ran for the pen of dire boars in the south-west, causing the human that was there caring for them to cower behind a tent.

Tommi and Oh-Six were inside another tent to the north, waiting for the right moment to strike. The little orb buzzed over the young man's head, and shone a light on a horn that was hanging from a tent-peg. It was covered strange carvings that softly glowed in the orb's light.

Having been struck hard by Escella's force bolts, the orc shaman in the north ordered a few orcs there to shield him with their bodies. They moved northward as a group, then two broke off and rushed for the ditch, leaping over and searching for the attackers there. They pointed out Lionel and Escella's hiding places, and flung javelins at them. The range was long, and they were behind the cover of branches and roots, and the javelins struck safely into their cover. The orc shaman created a magical flying spear that flew over to Lionel and flew about his head, thrusting at the halfling as he ducked and rolled.

OOC: Lionel did 32 to Rider1 (Dead); Escella did 26 to Eye1; Angis did 10 to Eye2 and took 12 from Orc6; Dornuk did 11 to Eye2, knocked him prone (he got up) and took 8 (4) from Archer1. Vairar missed Eye2, and took 8 from Archer4. If @MetaVoid Vairar's AC is still 20, then he doesn't take 15 from O3, otherwise he gets a pretty solid bash from an axe.

Tommi nods at Oh-Six, and mouths the word "thanks", not reallyknowing how the obje3cts sensors worked. He looks outside the tent as Escella's magic causes an actinic arc to rush through the spellcaster's body. Following a low whistle form Tommi, the hovering object whizzes out of the tent in a high trajectory and settles down just above the toasted Orc Eye's brow, as Tommi uses a sidearm to whip a stone around the orc that stands between him and the caster.

It's not his sling, but the small rock curves, out the open tent flap, and hits the Orc Eye, and then continues to skip beyond the small group outside of the tent door.

The pebble behaves as a knuckleball, curving around one foe and into the next. Had this been on the Daggerford pond, Tommi figures he could have skipped it a dozen times before it settled into the water. Sherlen would have smiled approvingly, and pretended to care.

As the caster falls, Oh-Six whizzes back into the tent. When it does so, Tommi is no longer to be seen, though his foot sticks out from behind a barrel. The horn is no longer hanging from its hook.

OOC: +2 to the Orc Eye's AC because of partial cover from Orc 8, I presume. Assuming advantage from Oh-Six.

Attack: 1d20+7 (w/adv)=19. Damage = 1d6+4=10.
Move: as needed within the tent.
(free? take horn.)
Bonus: Hide: 1d20+8=13.

2 stones left.

Legend
The one-eyed shaman's cunning plan to protect himself with the bodies of other orcs failed miserably, and after staggering under the blow of Escella's well-placed bolt, he fell to Tommi's arcing stone.

The half-ogre shoved the other two, sending them after Escella, while he lumbered into the tent, searching for Tommi. The big brute made a mess of the tent, tossing things over until he knocked over the barrel where Tommi was hiding.

The orcs charged northward, winding their way through the camp's earthworks. They threw javelins at Escella, wounding her.

OOC: Tommi and Escella do a combined 24 damage to Eye1 (dead). Orog finds Tommi, but searching was its action. Escella takes 12 from javelins.

AC 16; HP: 22/45

Vairar thrusts again toward the shaman, but in the jostling of many bodies in front of him, he cannot land a proper hit. And the silence keeps his close combat spells such as thunderwave from being effective.

Gritting his teeth, he holds the threads of the spell together.

Concentration DC 10; Concentration DC 10: 1D20+2 = [16]+2 = 18
1D20+2 = [10]+2 = 12
- Silence still holding, please roll in the future so you can adjudicate the effects

Attack vs OrcEye2; damage; thunder damage: 1D20+6 = [8]+6 = 14
1D10+3 = [9]+3 = 12
2D8 = [6, 8] = 14
- MISS; if somehow it hits: thunder damage ONLY if a) orceye moves AND b) silence falls (Vairar loses concentration)

@FitzTheRuke Vairar never has AC 20 unless running with both shield AND a spell; current AC with two handed spear is 16
