fanally getting round to reading and then planning a mutants and masterminds series for my lil bro and his friend. waiting for the new traveller rpg to actually turn up so i can give it a good read then probably end up not using it for ages lol. reading exalted 2nd edition and wondering why...

without actually having the full rules available you managed to make a coouple house rules? well at least you can claim to be the first to come up with some i guess :) and at least one of them is a pretty good idea.

ive never played the 1st edition of d&d but from what i just read im itching to try it out, i wonder if my nearest flgs will be running a game as tribute...time to find that number and give em a call methinks :) as for the mini's thing i couldnt agree with u more, i can get more roleplaying...

my old dm created the imaginative town of birdgetown for a campaign once we thought it would be because of the huge bridges that connected the 2 halves but nope aparently there was another reason that would be revealed during the campaign...we never did descover the reason, the dm forgot about...

i once had a gnome thief called squidgey nimblefingers, he wasnt very good at theiving and got resurected so many times by the cleric that he developed a hero complex and started trying to help him, he wasnt that good of a cleric either :) my dm hated me after that campaign..

the only problem i seem to have is that even though im signed into gleemax it refuses to acknowledge that im signed in wheni go on the forums even when i enter my login details on the forums sign in screen it still dosent update, its a good job i dotn actually care about the forum over there...

coz every damn 3.x game ive run or played in ended due to to much planning and nnot enough actual gameplay (coz the dm's got burned out on all the damn prep) plus the far cooler than the basic classes stuff from other splats bogged most games down in options that made the u go insane with...

warlock and swordmage seem the most interesting atm although knoing my luck i'll end up dm'ing instead so have to settle for the occasional warlock or swordmage npc acompanying the group when they need to make up numbers.

maybe they will add them as one of the psionic player races in whatever book they bring psionics back into the game? i can see them being usable to a degree in a campaign about the corruptability of mankind just as tieflings are the ancesters of a fallen human nation.

the way i see it if the bugbear does have that ability but others dont i can just houserule it so they do :)

i hope its something like a sneak preview of the town from the dmg or maybe a loook at the new class roles in depth

the more info i get the morte ideas i get for my campaign so im glad of anything wizards and you guys come up with atm :) role on may and the release of the first 4e adventure i say.

add me to that list, im currently building my own homebrew world in anticipation of 4e and before i started to read up on 4e on these boards i thought i would never play d&d again, now i cant wait for that first adventure so i can test drive the system and get an idea of how to blend the rules...
