Pretty cool. I didn't think the terrorist chick playing the FBI agent would end almost as soon as it began. I figured that little mess would have lasted a few episodes, but nope. I like it when Jack shot through the wall to kill her.

Yeah. It's a good thing the guy didn't live in a better apartment.

Things pretty much went as I expected them to. I suppose they'll string us out a bit longer with the question of whether or not the Pres is dead (and what the Vice-President will do to screw things up).

So, based on the previews, am I to understand that this entire day has been geared toward securing the nuclear codes? It's an awful lot of work if it is, and it depends on everything happening according to plan.

Also, what's going to happen to the pilot now that he's shot down AF1? I suppose he'll eject. I hope his parachute fails to open and he lands flat on Marwan.

I missed what happened with Edwin this episode. I saw Chloe be inappropriate about his mom, but then I had to leave the room. Anybody willing to fill me in?

Yeah, that was good. A wall is not always your best cover :)

But I still wonder why this F117 was armed with an air to air missile. I always believed F117 where only armed with air to ground missiles. Well, since apparently 24 plays in an alternative time-line (and maybe even the near-future), the 24-F117 have a fitting AA missile...

I agree that even though you knew the objective you didn't think that they would actually shoot down Air Force One. It's kind of a "They can't do that. It's the President." moment.

This makes me more intrigued on what role Palmer may play.

Still annoyed by the side plots. Now starring Tony and Michelle and her Seattle fling.

Edgar right? Chloe was actually trying to do the right thing and be compassionate. She took a call that Edgar's mother's body could not be retrieved for some time and she related this to him and that it meant they will have to have a funeral wihtout her body. She offered to help shoulder some of his work but he refused. Later she covered for him on a mistake he made because he wasn't focusing.

Well, even if air-to-surface is the typical payload for an F117 the average person won't know that. I'm ok if they stretched it. I can see how it would affect someone's view of the show if they have the knowledge though. I get annoyed with the computer networking jargon they throw around all the time.

WOW!!!....my heart actually skipped a beat...a first for this show.

Man, these guys are not kidding.

WOW!!!

Just...just....*speechless*

Eh. They spent an entire episode merely revealing what everyone knew by the end of the last episode - that the bad guys planned to shoot down Air Force One with a stealth fighter. I was bored up until the last minute, and only because it revealed the one bit of info I didn't already know - whether or not they'd be successful.

24 does take liberties with real life technology to better fit the storyline, but I don't mind because the show is so damn cool. :)

For example, the F-117 would have become visible to radar when the armament bay doors opened to launch the missile, and the nearby F-15s that were escorting Air Force One could have pounced the stealth like a pack of cats on a mouse. However, by some freak bending of the rules of physics, the F-117 remained stealthy even during the missile launch. ;)
