I will say this seems like it will be fun to character build. But, for many players, this seems like it is going to become overwhelming quickly.
Jeremy Crawford revealed in a recent video on playtest feedback that there will be 48 subclasses in the 1D&D PHB: 4 per class.
It's time to speculate.
ETA: This thread may get more traction if I began speculating so people could come tell me how I was wrong.![]()
I do not believe so, and the history of Wizards implies otherwise (though some people do wish for "school specialist" or somesuch as a blanket option), but it sure would be nice if there were 4 per class.Did he confirm the 48 subclasses are evenly divided between subclasses?
