4e Scales of War PbP (CLOSED DO NOT POST)

Charwoman Gene

Adventurer
I am currently seeking 2-4 more players for a Scales of War AP campaign to be played PbP on Enworld. I am looking for a casual game, rp on the light side, with players who can commit to posting roughly every weekday.

Any offical WotC crunch is ok, but non-PH1 races need approval.

You can add me to the list. "More" players, do you already have a game going?

I'm thinking a swordmage...would genasi be okay?

I would love to get in on this. I'm thinking barbarian at this point, to get the striker role into the mix. How would you feel about a gnoll? If that's not going to work, I'll go with a dwarf.

I'm interested in playing an Elven Defender with a Pole-arm. Either a Fighter (cleric) or a Paladin (fighter).
Just to stick his hand in this thread. Thanee is already here.

"more" I started a thread, got two nibbles then realized quickly the title needed to change.

We are now at 5-ish. that's cool.

Okay, now the race discussion begins. It is NOT a balance concern. It is a somewhat arbitrary aesthetic decision.

Tiers of Races and my Approval. (In 4e terms) This is not official!
Tier 1: Humans.
Tier 2: Dwarves. Halflings. Dragonborn
Tier 3: Elves. Half-Elves. Half Orcs.
Tier 4: Eladrin(Non-Forest Elves). Gnomes.
Tier 5: Devas, Tieflings, Goliaths, Shifters. Warforged.
Tier 6: Various Humanoids. [Gnolls]
Tier 6: Half-Flumphs. Awakened Otyughs
Tier 7: Genasi.

Seriously, I might bend but you must tell me what type. I won't let you play the purple Minbari looking one at all!

Gnoll person, I Have to look at the Gnoll stats, the MM stats are the ones I am most concerned for balance. Did they release Gnolls in a Dragon issue?

Thoughts on roles... We have a leader, 2 leadery defender, a controllery defender and a defendery striker. I think it is an okay mix although it feels a little samey.

They did a "Playing Gnolls" article in Dragon 367.

If it's too melee heavy, I guess I could switch over to a RANGEr. I'm really not that picky, I just thought the barbarian would be something different.
