Got any sources to back up you claim that only about half the groups use multiclassing rules? I would have thought that it was a lot higher than ~50%.FWIW, multiclassing IS optional and only about half the groups use it; but I guess this is as good a reason as downvoting something because it is "just too high".![]()
Mind you, i think lots of people play single-class straight through these days. Everyone in my current campaign certainly is, even though multiclassing is allowed. Losing access to higher-level features is a steep price to pay for multiclassing in most circumstances.
