A Night at the Four Seasons (DM: renau1g, Judge:Ozymandias79)

Still wincing at the poison. Kaeysari staggers forward, and lunges with her glaive at the giant scorpion. Hooking it in-between the creature's chitinous plates, she gives a mighty yank on the glaive, and the monster stumbles toward her, falling on the ground at her feet as she steps out of the way just in time.
She stabs at again repeatedly, but is unable to penetrate its shell.
She smiles grimly. The poison is gone for now, but she braces for the next blow.

[sblock=actions]Kaeysari starts with 32 HP, which makes her not bloodied, takes 10 HP poison damage, which leaves her bloodied, then because she's bloodied, regenerates 2, which leaves her not bloodied again.
Move: to J15
Standard: 1d20+10=30 Crit! For 1d6+17=21 damage. Kaeysari shifts to I15, and the scorpion is pulled into the space she just left (presumably it's in J15-M18) and falls prone. Scorpion is marked by Kaeysari.
Edit: choosing not to mark the target with either this or the next attack.

The heroes regroup and unleash hell on their opponents, sending them on their heels.

The gargantuan scorpion's stinger moves like lightning, but the shifter, drow and goblin dodge the attack, the many blows wearing on the beast. Perhaps a bit of survival instinct taking over the creature's pincer's smash into Kaeysari. The divine light burns the scorpion again.

The smaller one flails uselessly against Kauldron, the effect from Cyr helping protect the goblin.

The dragon roars and the area is rocked by a tremendous explosion of flames, sand and smoke, but somehow through all of it Tarkus and Phoenix survive. The eladrin looks at the great creature and shouts "Get the drow!" with a hint of fear creeping into his voice.

The volcanic dragon flies towards Damen, first calling the very air around Cyr, Kauldron, and Papo to fill with scalding steam. It lands next to Damen and the drow manages to dodge the claw of the foe, it's maw clamps down on the thief and leaves a burning wound.

The eladrin then turns to Tarkus, hoping to finish off the cleric, but his own wounds affect his spellcasting and Tarkus resists the spell.

Damen chuckles. Hit a nerve, did I? Well, while I appreciate the attention, your lizard friend is not my type. He ducks under the massive form, and vanishes in a puff of darkness. Somewhere within the cloud, another bolt fires unerringly at the eladrin, hitting him hard in the other shoulder. [sblock=OOC]Immediate reaction at end of dragon's turn: Agile Footwork to shift to H18.

The force of the bolt spins the eladrin around like a top and he collapses into the sand, a pool of red stains the area as his lifeblood spills out.

"Not getting away from me that easily, Dragon," Phoenix says. With a motion, blue flames explode across the dragon and the scorpion, her summoned phoenix winging over to them as well, enveloping them in the blazing heat of its body.

OOC: Huh, I thought he healed HS+12... maybe I was looking at the wrong page. It's fixed below.

Damage summary: Dragon takes 22 fire damage plus 12 at the start of its next turn and is slid 1 square south. Scorpion takes 13 fire damage at the start of its next turn.

Edit: Added OA vs Dragon

[sblock=Actions]OA vs Dragon: MBA: 1d20+6=8 AC, miss.
Start: Take 5 ongoing fire damage reduced to 0.
Minor: Sustain Flaming Sphere.
Standard: Freezing Burst(burst 1, centered on J18):
*vs Dragon: 1d20+10=Crit, 1d6+17=22 fire damage and slide him 1 square south(and closer to the ground if he's in the air).
*vs Scorpion: 1d20+10+1(bloodied)=16 Reflex, miss.
Move: Flaming Sphere moves to J19(above the dragon). At the start of their next turns, the Dragon will take 1d4+11=12 fire damage, and the Scorpion 13 fire damage.
Save: 1d20=11 vs ongoing fire, saved.

Immediate Actions:
1) If an enemy hits Phoenix's AC or Reflex and would miss if Phoenix's AC/Ref was 4 higher, she triggers Shield as an Immediate Interrupt, gaining +4 AC/Ref TENT.

Status: bloodied

[sblock=Growing Heat]
Er, what? I thought Growing Heat did 5 damage automatically if you were caught in it. What's this about an attack?
[/sblock]

[sblock=Tactics]
I'm out of healing except for Astral Seal.

I have Exacting Uttterance left, which gives the target vulnerability 4 to all damage until EONT. I think we should take out the large scorpion now - it has at least 152 hp, hopefully it's almost dead - and then I'll use it on the dragon and we can all gang up on it.

In the meantime, I'm going to use Astral Seal on the scorpion. Please let Kaeysari attack it next - she needs the healing.
[/sblock]

Seeing the scorpion shake off its daze, Tarkus backs away from it and sends more silver light to seal it. "Up!" he yells to Kaeysari. "It is on its last legs! Strike it down, and my goddess will heal you!"

[sblock=OOC]
Minor: sustain Font of Tears
Move: shift to O15 (can't risk an OA, even if it will cause it to take radiant damage)
Standard: Astral Seal on Scorpion (with +2 from CA from prone) (1d20+8+2=28) Until the end of my next turn, the scorpion takes -2 to all defenses, and the next ally who hits it regains 4 hp

Kaeysari climbs to her feet, and again strikes at the scorpion, the holy energy of Tarkus's connection to the goddess coursing through her body as she hits the monster. Then, gaining some leverage, she slides the scorpion closer to where her allies can reach it.
"Okay, lads, it's all yours!" she shouts.[sblock=actions]Regenerate 2 HP
