A Night at the Four Seasons (DM: renau1g, Judge:Ozymandias79)

"I thought that might bring you back," Phoenix says, smiling at the dragon. "We weren't done playing yet."

Seeing that the scorpions are almost dead beyond it, she engulfs them with blue flames again and calls the summoned phoenix. It flies above the dragon and tears into it with claws of pure flame.

OOC: I moved the sphere next to the Dragon since hopefully both scorps will be dead next turn.

Damage summary: Scorp takes 17 fire damage, missed Scorp1, Dragon will take 14 at the start of its turn.

If someone wants the Scorp slid somewhere, let me know, I've got a slide 1 that could move it somewhere...

[sblock=Actions]Start: Take 5 poison damage
Minor: Sustain Flaming Sphere.
Standard: Freezing Burst(burst 1, centered in K20, 3 squares up):
*vs Scorpion: 1d20+10+1(bloodied)=19 Reflex, hit, 1d6+11=17 fire damage and I can slide it but not sure where...
*vs Scorpion1: 1d20+10+1(bloodied)=17 Reflex, miss.
Move: Flaming Sphere moves to Q13(1 square above dragon). It will take 1d4+11=14 damage at the start of its next turn..

Status: bloodied

The massive scorpion collapses under the strange blue flames of Phoenix.

[sblock=ooc]
No he didn't slide you, I must've placed the token in the wrong tile. I was only using the trackpad on my laptop so it may have been imprecise.

The scorpion had 2 hp left ;)

(1) Ouch.
(2) Yay! About freaking time.

I'll wait till everybody else has gone to roll my death save, in case somebody has time to run over and use first aid on me or something.

Another bolt flies from the darkness at the smaller scorp, hitting it hard between plates on its carapace, then the drow emerges from the dissipating darkness, potion in hand, as he rushes towards Tarkus and the sandy and smoke. He nods at Phoenix. Good to see you doing well, m'lady, he adds with a sardonic smile.

The sand blows out the smoldering flames on his jacket.[sblock=OOC]Sneak attack vs Scorp1 (can't see Damen): Hit (almost crit again), 27hp. Then draw potion and move as far as he can towards Tarkus for next round. Save: Pass[/sblock][sblock=Damen]Damen Bane—Male Drow Thief 6

The smaller scorpion succumbs to the deadly drow's crossbow.

Just the dragon left, it had 4 hp left

Oh, stonegod are you keeping track of all those bolts? ;)

[sblock=moving dragon]Papolstaanas could try luring the dragon away, but he's more likely to try to hit anyone who isn't higher than row M or left of column 14.[/sblock]

OOC: too bad our strikers bothered with scorpions at such low hp, I could've killed them with one std action. Hindvision being 20/20 and all

Deva moves away from the dragon and melee, being careful to avoid the zones of danger and burning phoenix.

He calls another lightning bolt from the skies, but this one slams uselessly behind the dragon leaving small crater in the sand.

*Kauldron blinks as he lays upon the warm sandy desert sprawled upon his back staring up at the would-be sun.*

Ugh. I need another smoke.

*He groans and gets back up to his feet. Reaching into the box strapped to his leg, he pulls out a second cigar. After ripping the tip of it he places it into his mouth and with a snap of his fingers lights the cigars. He takes a deep puff of the now two cigars in his mouth and sighs a sigh of relief.*

Ahhh now that's the good stuff.

*He watches as everyone rushes the dragon opposite the rocks he currently stood at, having done his duty already this battle.*
