Adventure: Lord Byron’s Economic Woes (DM: Tenchuu, Judge: H.M.Gimlord)

Kane walks over to the unconscious kobold and without a hint of remorse swings his waraxe in a downward chop, removing the foes head from the rest of its body, and slashing out with the bastard sword, cutting down the other enemy in the cloud of daggers. The bugbear looks at the wolf, "Ok you go get the cowards now!" he says, pointing to the eastern building.

Move: to D12
Standard: Coup d'Grace - Using Waraxe basic attack Whirling Rend - damage is 16 + 4 (high crit) extra crit dmg (high crit) (2d6=4) for 20 damage - one dead kobold. That's one way not to have to roll attack dice ;)

Does off-hand damage to enemy adjacent to Kane, so C11 kobold for 9, killing it also
extra damage (off-hand) (1d12 1=9)

Slaying the Target Outright: If you deal damage greater than or equal to the target’s bloodied value, the target dies.

[sblock=ooc]Aww, the wolf was going to be able to attack the unconscious kobold with an instinctive action! Though I guess he'll now attack the guy with 2 hp left instead, which is maybe better. Hergunna will try going after the guys in the building.

PS - nice shot Wil!!! :) (I thought you still had your Warning Arrow left, I don't recall you using it.)[/sblock]

Sorry ryry, didn't mean to steal the kill. Maybe after the battle Hergunna can let Kane know a bit more about the creature. We can all discuss tactics after this one.[/sblock]

[sblock=Kane]I assume you mean move to D10, since the unconscious one is C9. Looks like you have the move to do this without drawing an OA from C11.

Great move BTW. I don't know how many more saving rolls you guys would have got in your favor. And that kobold was at full health.[/sblock]

Yes, my bad

Actually now that I think about it, I should be able to have used an at-will instead, forgot that there's 2 enemies in reach. Is it too late to retcon? I would use Whirling Rend, target the unconscious one and doing the 1d12+1 off hand (bastard sword) to the other enemy?

[sblock=ooc]Ok, so id you do that, you are going to prevent the wolf from attacking. It will only get a free attack if it's next to an enemy. If I have to command it to move, I also have to use a standard action to attack.

Go ahead and do it anyway though, it's better to get the sure kill. The wolf certainly could miss.[/sblock]

This way though the wolf can attack the kobolds in the west house.

Move to -A14, then charge? That way we kill two enemies here and you still get to attack. [/sblock]
