[Adventure] Rage of the Savage Lands (DM: Dekana, Judge: TwoHeadsBarking)

Jarel-karn just ignore the two undead and teleport in front of the avatar. "I want to play with you too..." He attack the avatar but miss. He then unleash the power he had charged in the sword. He miss again the avatar, but a rerisen fall under the blast. "Ok everyone, leave her to me!"

[SBLOCK=OOC]Move: Armathor's Step to L8
Minor: Aegis of Shielding
Standard: Booming Blade vs AC on Avatar (1d20+18=25, 1d8+9=12, 1d6+9=12) Miss... and almsot happy it is like that.
Free: Echoes of Sword Magic vs Fort on Avatar; Rerisen4 (1d20+18=23, 1d8+9=16, 2d6+9=16) Miss avatar... and I don't attack with a 1d8+9... a typo here. So attack roll against rerisen4:
Echoes of Sword Magic vs Fort on Rerisen4 (1d20+16=28) Hit for 16 damage, mark it UEoNT and a kill as he is a minion.

Also, Jarel-karn gains 2 THP for hitting the Rerisen.

Note: Impenetrable Warding is still up, but the boots of fencing master is not giving any bonus this round. My defense in parenthesis are the good one for this round.
[/SBLOCK]

[SBLOCK=Immediat Interrupt]Jarel-karn have many immediate action. Take the first trigger that happens during the round. If many trigger happen at once, take the first in the list.

1) Trigger: A marked enemy hit any ally within 10 squares Power: Aegis of Shielding Effect: Close Burst 10; -10 damage to triggering attack.

2) Trigger: A marked enemy with your Aegis of Shielding target Jarel-karn and at least one ally with an attack. Power: Leather Armor of Aegis Expansion +2 Effect: The damage of the triggering attack is reduced by 7.

3) Trigger: An enemy hit in melee any non-pure-defender ally within 5 squares and pushing the target 1 square would put him out of reach of the ally. Power: Countering Thunderclap Effect: Close Burst 5; +13 vs. Fort; 1d6+9 thunder damage and you push the target 1 square. If the target can no longer reach your ally, the attack misses.

4) Trigger: An enemy hit in melee any non-pure-defender ally within 5 squares and is within 5 squares of another enemy. Power: Dimensional Vortex Effect: Ranged 5; +13 vs. Will against triggering enemy. If hit, you teleport the target 5 squares next to an enemy. The target make his melee attack against the most damaged enemy and do an extra 5 damages if it is marked by Jarel-karn. If there is no target valid, he expend the attack.

5) Trigger: An enemy hit any non-pure-defender ally within 10 squares or Jarel-karn is hit by an attack. Power: Channeling Shield Effect: Close Burst 10; You reduce the damage by 10 from the triggering attack. You next successful attack you make before the end of your next turn will do 5 more damage.[/SBLOCK]

OOC: Double post but I want to amek sure everyone see it. DON'T REMOVE MY MARK. I can reduce area attack if I am included in it, but I need my mark. 7 less damage on a area effect is nice. Also, I'm in the best condition, I have all my defense up to their max... mathematics is calling for me to survive monguer than anyone else.

[MENTION=57009]Dekana[/MENTION]: I use my interrupts against the Avatar. I will use it against the last rerisen ONLY if the avatar have already acted and I didn't use my interrupt against one of her attack.

Damen coughs up blood as more of it spills from his ears. He grimaces as he raises his crossbow, but things better of it. He slides along the far wall, circling around the creature. His head seems to clear up some.
OOC: Damen takes 10 then is healed for 23; still bloodied. Move to J14. Save vs dazed.

Scarmiglione comes out of his blackout completely disoriented. Seeing something like a cloud of ravens nearby, he lets out a tremendously loud "SQUAWK!"--only to find that the cloud has been replaced by Beatrice and Eithal, who are now engulfed in blue flames.

[sblock=actions]Scarm is bloodied, so changes to phase of the stars, which removes his psychic resistance before his turn starts :(

Scarm takes 10 psychic.

Blood matting her hair, and running down her back, Eithal steps forward and swings, but can't seem to connect with the evil raven queen. Drawing on the strength of the earth beneath her feet, she braces for an inevitable blow.
OOC: Medic!

BTW: Eithal needs a 16 to hit this thing. I don't think she's going to be much more good than a flanker.

The last undead guard chases after Jarel-karn, but when it catches up, it still can't manage to actually hit him.

The Avatar brings her own claws to bear against Eithal and has more luck in attacking than the guard, but Eithal endures the blows without (much) complaint. Slightly frustrated by this, the Avatar changes targets and attacks Jarel-karn. She nearly hits the swordmage, but Eithal then reaches out and deflects the longsword with her bare hands.

Scarm continues to be pulled about by the shadow tentacles. His arm is yanked by one shadow into the air, his dagger poised to stab Jarel-karn in the back.

[sblock=Scarm]You're dominated! Use Sly Flourish on Jarel-karn. If you can't (because he moved), use Blazing Starfall on him instead.

As a side note: the Avatar must target a dazed or stunned creature with that gaze attack, and dazed is part of the dominated condition. So she can dominate you over and over until she misses with the attack, until she has another dazed PC to target instead, or until she can't use her minor action (dazed herself). That kind of sucks. Sorry, this might take control away from your PC for awhile. :erm:[/sblock][sblock=actions]Scarm's turn: You also need a save against the -2 to attacks. I'll roll that to keep things moving: 20, saved. (1d20=20) You wasted my crit, hehe.

Rerisen 2: Walk to L9. Claw vs Jarel-Karn misses AC 27.

Avatar: Fails to recharge Shadow Explosion. Standard: Double Attack vs Eithal. Claw vs Eithal hits AC 34 for 7-5=2 damage, and hits AC 26 for 12-5=7 damage. AP-Standard: Plagued Longsword vs Jarel-karn misses AC 31-4=27.
-Eithals Warden's Fury just barely misses Fort 27. (1d20+15=27)

OOC: Hmm, does a Ranged gaze attack provoke an OA? I need to check that when I get home today. Jarel-karn and Eithal may get an OA if so.

Gaze

A kind of attack. Blind or blinded creatures are immune to gaze attacks, and a creature cannot make a gaze attack while blinded.

OOC: Nope, unless the attack is a ranged or ranged busrt attack. If it is a melee or close burst/blast, it won't.

Jarel-karn decides to use the rerisen as a vector for his lightning. He charge his body and attack the rerisen. He barely hit the undead and kill it, but an lightning jump from the body to the avatar, hurting her.

He than start to distract her form Scarm, hoping she will stop to manipulate his companion.

Hit Avatar for Ligthning Damage on Avatar (1d6+2d8+13=27) 27 damage. (Initial damage roll was 3d8, not 1d6+2d8, so I rerolled).

[MENTION=57009]Dekana[/MENTION]: For next turn, while Eithal mark the Avatar. If the Avatar declare a Double Attack vs Eithal, I'll use dimensional Vortex to teleport her out of reach of everyone, as far back of the room as possible. I'll take the AoO (and that might trigger Eithal's mark). That would also probably make her waster her action... if I hit against Will (it is an arcane attack, so with Promise Storm up, I have +1 attack, for a total of +14)[/SBLOCK]
