OK,
Consider abilities that do damage via an effect or side effect. Things like flaming sphere (those adjacent to the sphere take d4+int damage) or the sorcerer power flame spiral (Effect: Until the start of your next turn, any enemy that enters a square adjacent to you or starts its turn there takes 1d6 fire damage.).
Do you add all your bonus damage to these effects? So implement, sorcerer bonus damage, etc.? Same with the fighter stances that do [W] damage to everyone adjacent?
I know that things that do fixed damage don't generally get the bonuses, and I've always assumed that any die roll does (as a damage die roll) but in many cases this seems like a LOT of damage to be dealing out. (My level 5 wizard would be doing d4+11 damage to all adjacent with flaming sphere for example, which is pretty gross for auto damage).
Is there an FAQ entry or anything else that clarifies this? DDI doesn't ever compute this stuff for you so...
