I bet we're going to have an interesting time with this one. I wonder how many of us will have our characters survive until the end...

Well I can safely say you will survive the first giant you encounter, but after that things will get harder. (see below)

If i can survive to lv4 i think i should be ok. Picking up Mobile at that Point will allow me to Attack and then move away from the Giants :p

PS: Reading some More about the Bladesinger i found the side bar about the Different Styles. Now the playstyle i had invisioned fits perfectly with the Raven Style but

The question will be then how strict you want to keep these Styles to what is written in the books ;)

I don't know about that ideal, did you know that most giants do more damage with their thrown rocks?

Cloud Giant: 3d8+8 melee, 4d10+8 stone
Hill Giant: 3d8+5 melee, 4d10+5 stone
Stone Giant: 3d8+6 melee, 4d10+6 stone

Reading up on the class before I was going to suggest Eagle and 2 hand axes, because of you taking clan-crafter. Learning some skill with axes from the dwarves. But then you had your backstory up before I had could make the suggestion. I saw the blades having wings engraved on them and such.

It says "Bird" styles are mostly hafted weapons, but they list no style for rapiers or longswords. Whips, chains, axes and shortswords/scimitars for Cat Style. So you can say that Raven is usually war pick, but the elf blood in you has made you better with the sword. Like most things D&D they are never in stone and the PCs are always the exception to most of the rule.

Use a Whip. Reach, finesse, it would allow you to fly in and out without getting too close to trigger an AOO. It’s only a d4, but that’s not the worst thing.

Yeah, if i had any other kind of background written that would have been a good choice ;)

But i like my swords to much with this character.
So Just trying to pick the Right Blade ;) Scimitar was a close second tho

Well I can safely say you will survive the first giant you encounter, but after that things will get harder. (see below)

Never underestimate the players' capacity to turn negotiations into an impossible battle to the death! :p

But seriously, at low levels we almost have to avoid direct confrontations. Diplomacy, stealth; these are our primary weapons at first.

So last of the character reviews are in and now I wish to start working on the hooks/gathering the group together.

Reviews:
Therysilla:
- AC?? it says you have chainmail on, but you have the stats for a chain shirt listed, AC 13 + 2 DEX MAX, + 2 shield = AC 15/17
- chainmail AC 16/18, but then you have disadvantage on stealth checks and your move is reduced by 10' (although you could switch some stats around if you wish)
- question is did you pay for chainmail or a chain shirt
- leftover gold if chainmail was bought 65gp, 5sp or if chain shirt was bought 90gp, 5sp

Buddy:

- Buddy, Buddy, Buddy, crazy what is going on with this character. Is he a wizard? a rogue? a cleric? no? how about all three or an old school Bard, lol - I love the mesh you have going on here.
- Alignment?
- abilities? you raised only one stat, I think you should have made your WIS 12 also?
- have leftover gold as 93gp

And now a little look into how I am thinking of starting things... We will begin at a card game (in Waterdeep), where all the characters are playing have been invited by the famous treasure hunter Veradda Stoor (female half-elf). Some of you will have already met/worked with her... Buddy, Darian, Fareon, and Wilhelm. During the game (we will be playing Crit Queen's Call, thanks to Critical Role, modified a bit for multiplayer), everyone will get a chance to interact with each other, learn a bit about the other PCs and asking questions of Veradda.

How did you meet Veradda you ask? I will leave this up to all of you, with a bit of help below. Also I am going to pair off the PCs and how the two of you met is also up to the two of you. Work it out here or in pm if you wish to have the group learn as we play. Don't even pm me the backstory it will be fun to learn with everyone else.

OK some notes:
Buddy:
- Veradda and Buddy probably worked together before. Her needing to find a certain person for info and Buddy leading her to them. They may have uncovered a treasure together in some old tomb in the heart of the city or something like that, all up to you.

Darian:
- Darian would have met Veradda through a contact or her dealings with his family. Veradda likes fine clothes when she needs to petition merchants or nobles to help fund an expedition. They may have had long conversations on the adventuring life, something she has lived and Darian wishes to pursue.

Fareon and Wildhelm:
- The two of you will have met before the both of you met Veradda. She normally travels alone, and of course gets into trouble because of this. So a rescue scenario or maybe found her traveling and weren't ready to let her go off on her own and followed.

PC MEETINGS:
Buddy and Therysilla - Buddy was sent by Veradda to find the unique warrior to invite her to the card game and talk about an important quest.
How/where you met is up to the both of you.

Darian and Searinox - Of course they meet and become friends over swordplay/weapons. Maybe they spar together? Or Searinox has done some fancy craftwork/etching for the noble. After the two of you decide how they met, the ending should read that Darian asks Searinox to come along to the card game.

Fareon and Wilhelm - Both traveling in the same direction, they could meet along the road. In some town they were both at during the same time. How, what, where is all up to the both of you. Still heading north they would run into Veradda, and end up in Waterdeep with an invitation to dinner and a card game.

that could work, if @jmucchiello is up for it could be fun to create some background for it. might have some fun ideas

have to say i am truely excited to see how this plays out, every1 seems to have such interesting characters i can hardly wait to see how they all interact

if any1 knows, what would be a good location for Searinox's "Clan" sorta say to be. I'm not rly familiar with the Forgotten Realms so im having a hard time finding a place that would be close enough to Waterdeep to travel from, but far enough that it couln't be done on a regular basis.
