OOC: Are you spending ki points to knock them prone? Because just activating the ability doesn't use Ki points, unless you choose to knock them prone.

OOC: Nope, no ki points to knock them prone. In this case, prone is not really useful since ranged attacks have disadvantage against prone creatures. It's a nice element of balance for the ability, but probably created for landbound monks. In any case, Theremin will only attack using his 2 attacks + 1 bonus round one

OOC: Then you currently have all of your Ki points, unless I'm mistaken. Also, I randomly rolled as to which Mephits you attacked, since you didn't specify.

The monk took to the sky, flying over the swarm, launching a series of elementally assisted attacks down on the creatures. The first two attacks happened to land on the same Magma Mephit that Xobru had already weakened, and the impacts rammed it into the ground. Moments later, it exploded in a burst of fire and magma, showering the three mud Mephits and the other two Magma Mephits with lava. The Magma Mephits are fine, but the Mud Mephits have been burned by the explosion. This does not deter them from their course, however, as they make a beeline for the tavern door.

The monk's third attack hit one of the other Magma Mephits, doing nominal damage to it.

OOC: Here's the stats:

Magma Mephits: 1 dead, 1 injured, 1 fine.
Mud Mephits: All 3 slightly injured
Ice Mephits: All 3 fine
Dust Mephits: 1 almost dead, 2 fine
Smoke Mephits: All 3 fine
Steam Mephits: 1 injured, 2 fine

Lola and Jord have their moves, then it's the Mephit's turn!

"Huh, that's interesting," Lola said casually, watching the chaos outside the inn. She looked to the big guy and shrugged. "Could be fun?"

She stepped outside and tried to find a spot a little more hidden and out of the way, but not too far from the door. Likely anyone watching was watching that swarm anyway, those that weren't cowering inside.

With a bright grin and a swish of her tail she gleefully shot off a spell at the nearest creature.

OOC: Hopefully this doesn't get Lola immediately arrested lol

[URL="Firebolt Damage: 2D10 = [5, 9] = 14 Firebolt Damage: 2D10 = [5, 9] = 14 [/URL]

Jord looked to the tielfling as she left for the door. He smiled at her comment and shrugged. Swigged down a last portion of porter and grabbed his hammer and headed for the door as well.

OOC: In a situation like this, and this is for everyone, I think it would be a good idea to specify which Mephit, or at least which kind of Mephit, you are aiming at when you attack. If you don't, I'm just going to roll for a random one. For example, "The nearest creature" could have been a kind of Mephit that was immune to your attacks. Just a thought.

A bolt of fire lances through the air from Lola into the nearest Mud Mephit, searing it badly, the mud making up much of its body hardening and cracking with heat. Pained, it turns and looks strait at Lola, heading right to her. it seems to heave, and a spray of mud flings from its mouth towards Lola.

Another of the Mud Mephits sprays at Xobru, and the third sprays at Jord as he comes walking out of the doorway.

OOC: Each of you make a Dex Save. If you fail, you are restrained for 1 minute, and can make a new dex save at the end of every turn to end the effect early

The two remaining Magma Mephits belch fire onto all three of you, as well.

OOC: If you pass the Mud Mephit Dex Save, make another one for half fire damage. DC is 11 for both. If you failed the first save, you automatically fail this save.

All three Ice and all three Dust Mephits come at Nacay, who is standing alone in the street. They all, come at him with their claws. Three hit nothing but air or armor, but the other three, two Dust and one Ice, manage to get past his armor. One of the Dust Mephits scores a critical hit, slicing across his neck. Damage grand total is 17, with 2 of it being ice damage.

The five Mephits following Vimak spread out, as if to try and cut off their faster pray. He does see an alleyway on the ground that would limit the direction the Mephits could come at him by, though he could also just try to stay out of their reach. They are slower than he is, after all. However, now that both of them are flying high, and now that the Mephits are spread out, any further shots from the revolver will be done at disadvantage while in the air. If Vimak lands, and forces them to bunch up to attack him, then they will have advantage.

OOC: Your turn!

Nacay touches the gash on his neck inspecting the blood on his fingers before raising his blade and bringing it down upon the strange dust creature he had hit with his javelin previously.

OOC: attack[roll0]
Damage[roll1]
If Nacay kills this mephit he will use his bonus granted by Gwm to attack another dust mephit attack
[roll2]
Damage[roll3]

OOC: Let's see, you rolled an 8, and had a plus 7, so 8-7 = 1. That, my friends, is what you call a Crit Fail!

Nacay swings at the Dust Mephit, and misses so completely, anyone who saw it may think his icy eyes were actually blind. That particular Mephit will have advantage on it's next attack against you.

Seeing the damage the magma creature did to those around it as it died, Theremin will do another swooping attack to try to dispatch the one that was injured, before it gets close to people.

[sblock=ooc]Using Fist of broken air (initiated by unarmed strike, duration: inst. Your unarmed strikes are treated as 15-foot ranged attacks for that attack action, as well as the rest of the turn.)

Theremin will remain 15ft away from any enemy and fly away afterwards (he basically will do a flyby attack loop)

2 unarmed attacks + 1 bonus action one:

Attack 1: [roll0]
damage [roll1]

Attack 2: [roll2]
damage [roll3]

Bonus action attack: [roll4]
damage [roll5]

Note 1 : Theremin will use deflect missile (reaction) if hit by a ranged weapon.
Note 2 : Theremin will cast absorb energy (reaction) if hit by an energy attack that does more than 8 hp damage.

AC: 18
HP: 45/45

Ki points remaining: 5
