Grackle finishes chanting, and a dusty, impish creature with stone-flecked skin materializes nearby. The gnome grunts out in Terran "Smash the evil flying skull!"
Then he mutters in Common "Wh-what about Jillie?"
[sblock=ooc]Gahh! Sorry for holding things up. Hardly checked EN World at all in the past week or so while waiting and dealing with all kinds of distractions at home. Didn't realize I had ignored EN World for quite so long.
I'm not sure if Ballista has any bardic music effects active right now or something, and not sure if they affect the elementals, so I haven't factored in whatever mods she might have on the group at present. Only Grackle's own Augment Summoning feat is factored into the rolls, along with flanking and Earth Mastery and such.
The earth mephit flies in to attack from above, as the earth elementals continue their assault. The mephit gets a 21 to-hit for 8 damage.
1d20+10=21, 1d3+5=8
Earth elemental attacks, with Earth Mastery's penalties factored in, are a 19 to-hit for 12 damage, and a natural 1 on the second elemental's attack roll.
1d20+5=19, 1d6+6=12, 1d20+5=6, 1d6+6=11
Active Effects: Mage Armor (9 hours), Shield (9 minutes), False Life - 10 (3 hours), Resist Energy - Acid 20 (cast once on everyone, 90 minutes), Summon Monster IV (5/9 rounds).
Spell Slots Remaining: 6/6 0-level, 2/7 1st-level, 0/7 2nd-level, 4/7 3rd-level, 1/5 4th-level.[/sblock]
