Gamer Significant Others

Been married nearly 14 years now. My wife has gamed in the past (her first rpgs were Rolemaster & Champions -- but she refused to read the books, I had to make her character and explain how to play), though she doesn't game anymore.

Considering that we both work for the same game company, I would have to say that she is extremely tolerant of my gaming (and even tries to get me to keep my gaming books organized - an impossible task).

Happily married 12 years to a non-gamer, who tolerates my p-n-p, board, and computer gaming while not liking or understanding it, much the same way I tolerate her time spent at the Neimann Marcus cosmetic counter and watching political movies Vive la differance!

I am into a 21 year relationship with my gamer wife. Married 11 of those years. We met and dated before we both found out we were gamers. After we discovered we were each gamers our converstaions turned to elves, orcs, and how just far could you throw a halfling...

Years later we are still having our discussions about D&D.

I haven't had an SO for nearly two years. However, I have had several SOs who were gamers.
