Deadline just reported that the film did $5.6M in previews (including $1.5M from pre Thursday screenings). This is about $2M more than the latest Shazam and about $2M less than John Wick 4 did for previews. Given that, it should hit $40M with $55M in the realm of possibility (Studio is conservatively estimating $30M).

In fairness, John Wick is awesome.

I saw it last night. It was my first return to the theater since a group of us rented out a screen for Tenet.

It was totally worth it.

Box office reports are starting to come in on BoxOfficeMojo.com, from the earliest release opening (it opened yesterday in South Korea, apparently).

As of this very moment, D&D:HAT has earned $350,562 internationally/worldwide. No domestic earnings have been posted yet, but I'll be checking the website every so often over the weekend and post some updates.

John Wick was awesome! Would love to see that director do an action film set in the D&D universe. There is a real opportunity to give filmmakers with a specific vision the keys to the world to make really unique takes on D&D adventures instead of trying to make each film fit a specific mold. That is assuming that more films get greenlit :)

Let me correct you... Finally, the GUNMONK will get a chance to shine! ;)

Or I could see a Monk/Warlock doing this, he just needs to make gun-fingers an shout "Pew-Pew!"...
"What are you doing?"
"I have a really weird Great Old One patron, called John Woo..."
