Has anybody's SVGames order shipped yet?

Got mine yesterday (4/9), ordered them on 3/10. Never received any email that it was shipping, it just kind of arrived.

Hold out hope, they're on the way. I know I was starting to wonder myself if it would ever arrive.

While I haven't; received my order yet. Relax the order will be shipped the company is not going to rip anyone off. they seem to me to be a small operation, and so they may not have the best inventory system so it is taking them a while.
I am sure the orders will al be filled.

Well, further concerning news on the SV Games front.

I just tried to call customer service and not only was their no reply during their posted business hours, but their mailbox was full. I suspect they are beginning to get a lot of angry calls about the absence of minis in peoples' mail.

I wrote them an angry e-mail that I just sent off. I have no idea whether it will have any effect, but quite frankly I don't care. I'm sure I will get my minis eventually, but SV Games has really gotten on my last nerve. I would have to think seriously about whether to do business with them in the future. They are not a particularly responsive vendor.

Except that you're getting all your chainmail minis half off....

There -is- a difference between "responsive" and "instantly availible whenever I want".

Actually, I'm getting them for considerably more than 1/2 off in some cases, which is what I contracted for when I bought them. And I do not consider waiting patiently for a month to be desiring them "instantly when I want them." I do consider a vendor shipping on time or offering an explaination to be a reasonable expectation.

I don't buy the argument that I shouldn't complain if they're slow because they're cheap. They were selling them cheap, and they charged my credit card upon order. I contracted for a service at an agreed upon price. This doesn't entitle them to give me sub-par service. Do you disagree? Would you expect subpar service, say, at your favorite restaurant when you order the special? "Well, I know that $7.50 is really good for swordfish, which is why I don't mind that it's over cooked and slow to reach me." I don't think so. Neither do I.

I did not recall ANY notice about the shipping date when I placed my order several weeks ago. Special price or not, they've got a customer service problem if they don't respond to their emails and phone calls.

They are starting to remind me of New Wave.

I shot an e-mail off to them yesterday afternoon and have yet to get a reply. Getting pretty damned annoyed. Though at least now I know that they're using USPS, not UPS. So I won't be getting any tracking numbers from them. Or does USPS have shipment tracking, too? I'm not sure. *sigh* I just wish my miniatures would GET here, already! They were supposed to ship the week of March 31st. So even if you assume that my shipment left them at the end of that week, namely April 4th, it's taken a week for it to get here, now. IMO, that seems a bit long.

You know he doesn't have a costumer service dept except for maybe himself, and one other staff member, so if he stopped to take the time to respond to every ones email then he wouldn't; be shipping out the orders. what is he to do if he doesn't; pack your orders you complain, but if he stops and takes time to respond to your emails and answers calls then you complain because it is taking so long. Most small business, it takes a bit of time, Every time I have ordered from SVgames the order has always arrived, he is not out to rip any one off.

No one said that he was out to rip anyone off. What we are discussing is the fact that many of us who placed orders over a month ago still don't have what we paid for at that time. The bottom line is that orders were placed, in some cases in excess of a month ago. Whilst many of us have given him the benefit of the doubt and were willing to accept the delayed ship date, we are fully entitled to be losing patience with this guy. His site previously stated that all orders would be shipped the week of 3/31. NOW the site says that all orders will be shipped within 5-7 days. So even if we STACK the two response times, he's still not fulfilling his obligations. Not to mention the fact that he processed everyone's payments well before shipping the merchandise, which, as I believe someone else indicated, is a violation of FTC statutes.

I really don't care if he's one person or 300. If he's an online retailer, he has an implied obligation to respond to his customers. If he had any business acumen at all, he'd get off his duff and start letting people know what's going on. I've seen this community be EXTREMELY patient with online retailers when they have the stones to stand up and say, "Gang, I'm sorry I've been slow to get your orders out. I'm working on it as fast as I can." However, he's apparently chosen the route of ignoring his customers concerns. I can say for a certainty now that I won't be doing business with him again.
