Most likely I was wrong but I feel curiosity about this idea, the partnership of the D&D lines with different companies, for example one with Disney (Dragonlance?), other with Amazon, with HBO/Warner(Birthright?), Netflix, Paramount (Forgotten Realms?). The strategy of "don't put all the eggs in one basket". Each company would try to use the partnership to prove they are the best option and old and forgotten lines would take an opportunity to become a new cash-cow, but also there are some risks, because here the crossovers would be too complicated. Or maybe a serie works for a season or two but it is cancelled, and then it has to be continued by other plataform. It wouldn't be the first time.
The videogame studios and movie producers may start from zero creating their own franchises, or adquiring 3PPs with potentially valuable IPs. Throne of Eldraine may be interesting like a "Shreck for young adults, not too grimm neither kid-friendly".
