Well, the title of the forum for this month (ie. May Memories and Off Topic) is certainly appropriate.

Julie and I are now the proud parents of our first child. Named Nicolas Vincent Xavier Godbout, he is a wonderful big boy. Born May 4th at 17:39 EST, he weights 3.476 kg (7lb. 10.5 oz).

Mother and child are in great shape. Daddy is already planning Vincent's first D&D campain and he even has is plush d20 !

How is that for May memories ?!

Congrats! I will now bestow the one and only piece of unsolicited fatherly advice I always give: Do whatever you must to cope with the sleep deprivation of the first two months. Eat fatty foods or watch bad reality television or go outside and scream at the moon. Whatever it takes for the first two months.

After two months then you still won't be getting much sleep but the baby will start to smile and you won't care anymore.
