(IC) Against the Giants PBP Group 1

Jack grinned seeing Bible in action. It seemed that the cloud giant's sword fit her well, and woe to the hill giant that got in her way.

Shifting his position a bit, Jack trained his aim on the hill giant that Cordit-Ape was engaged with. Just before firing however, he noted a sudden gust of wind, so quickly adjusted for it.

Bible did not hesitate when the giant staggered and she plunged Waythe deep. The giant fell backwards to the ground, dead. Cordit still held the body of the young giant that she had crushed into the ground, and she lifted it as a club, leaping toward the armored giant and swinging the body wildly, driving the giant on the defensive.

Jack took into account the breeze and sent a quarrel over Cordit's shaggy ape-shoulder. It struck the giant in the right shoulder between plates. The giant groaned in pain and frustration, but forced himself to swing his axe. It was clear that his right arm was numb, and his blows were weakened.

OOC: Jack & Cordit did 32 & 17 to AHG1, who did 22 to Cordit in 2 attacks. @VLAD the Destroyer & @Shadowedeyes Quinn & Valda to go to roll the round!

Quinn struck the giant with starlight before taking cover behind the body of the other fallen giant. He had a look at both of the visible doors to the Steading - one directly south of him that stood firmly shut. The other across the courtyard, that led, he knew, to the kitchen. It was also shut, with no sign that anyone was coming. The young giant that had made a dash for that door struggled with Valda's fiery bindings, burning as he tried in vain to escape.

Valda moved in on the giant, circling past Cordit, whose big ape-feet stomped heavily next to her as she struggled with the giant. Valda slashed at the giant's thigh, leaving a gash, as he tried to kick her away.

The giant stumbled as Bible struck him with Waythe, but he did not fall. He was clearly on his last legs, with numerous wounds as he staggered about, swinging his axe aimlessly.

OOC: Next shot will probably finish him off. Who wants it?
