(IC) Against the Giants PBP Group 2

Though the giant kicked at the Colonel, taking his lightning in the leather sole of his boot, there was nothing he could do to avoid the screaming bullets from Doc's guns. He staggered as they pierced his hide under one of his great raised arms. He wheezed and spat blood as he spun to face the Colonel.

OOC: I won't take the Keeper's turn just yet, give the others a chance to post...

Leaping over the pile of corpses in the doorway Kahru was in time to see the squire Donnel bravely step in front of the Colonel and take the giants blow. It was a rash action for the young warrior, but admirable nonetheless, even more so when the young squire called out despite the pain, rallying his companions

"We've got'em on the ropes, boys! The Bigger they are, the harder they fall!"
Bolstered by the words, Kahru rushed forward to the confrontation checking on the colonels wounds before moving to shove Donnel aside and drive Waythes thirsty shaft into the giant malformed belly...

OOC: Okay Cast Bonus Action Level 3 Healing Word: 3D4+3 = [1, 4, 2]+3 = 10 on Colonel

The giant once more resisted Gimlak's mental assault as he brought his axe down once more on Donnell's shield before turning to face Kahru as the northman stabbed him in the belly. He grunted with the wound swung wildly, catching Kahru with more hilt than blade.

OOC: Staggered, but not down. Keeper missed Donnell but made his Wisdom Save against Gimlak (I can't believe my save rolls). He got Kahru for 18.

Kahru felt the sting of the giants wild swing this time, but was thankful that it hadnt been a better blow and that attention was off the boy. Waythe was still in his hand, joyous at the prospect of another giant slain and Kahru was happy to oblige

"you're right boy!" Kahru bellowed for his companions to hear as he stepped back for momentum and plunged Waythe back into the misshapen bulk in front off him "get ready this ones about to fall hard!"

Reinvigorated (and grateful to the strike team he has assembled), the Colonel again tries to shock the man-mountain in front of him. This time he connects, sending the giant staggering back.

He strides forward. "Me!" he shouts. "Take on me!"

OOC: Move 10' to CV56, around the perimeter of the giant.
Action: Shocking Grasp 1d20+10=27 HIT 3d8 damage= 12 lightning and 7 radiant. Keepter is also pushed 10' away (into the barrels, directly north I suppose).
Assuming he is moved back, the Colonel will close the distance, trying to stop the Keeper attacking anyone else.

Seeing the big ugly strugglin', Doc fires two more shots in succession, consigin' another soul to the graces of the Nameless Sheriff.
