While the presence seemed to have faded, Quellathe could still sense it lurking by... back towards the southern hallway.

Otherwise the room is a blackened burnt out mess of fallen and destroyed debris.
 

Controlling his natural urge to stick to the shadows, Kelvyn instead moves into the light and makes his way toward the East hallway. Finding his voice once the presence seems to fade he comments. "Let's leave this place and any inhabitants behind."

"East seems as good a choice as any." Uhtred agreed. "Though I am loath to leave that behind us." He added pointing vaguely towards the south entrance. "Whatever it is, it seems reluctant to attack with the light, so as long as it doesn't follow, we should be fine."

Tirion and Uhtred lead the party into the eastern hallway and back into the shadows. The hallway made two turns, one to the right and then back to the left before coming into another large burnt out area filled with debris and broken sections of the roof above. More testament to the destruction of that night when the orcs and other humanoids fell onto Highport. The room has two doors, one on the south side and one on the west side of the chamber. There is also an open hallway with stairs leading upward that ends in a heavy oak door.

Naeris, the panther, growls at the stairwell as if she smelled something that riled her up (not afraid).

Kelvyn moves to get a better look through the open roof to see what he can of the space beyond the door that has the Panther nervous.
 

GM: Kelvyn can make out through the broken roof that the party has come up close to the back tower keep that was on the back side of the temple area (the 'front' would be facing out of the temple area). From what you had gathered before the tower was once the main entrance into the temple compound proper, when not going into the main chapel itself. When you observed it from the outside there was a heavy looking iron portcullises blocking the entryway.
