D&D 5E (IC) Fitz's Folly

OOC: I am thinking about taking skilled again at lv 4, if that's what you mean. Silly, but Harb is meant to be a skill monkey. It is somewhat hard with a neg intelligence mod though.

Perception: [roll0]

Harb looks around the room, relying on his keen senses to find a clue as to their next step.

Everyone searched the little room, careful not to disturb anything that could possibly be dangerous. Dellrak could not make sense of Viplo's mad scribblings (when compared to the carvings) until Rodrigo pointed out the seam of a door hidden on the far wall. Dellrak intuitively understood how the stonework had to be weighted in order for a hidden stone door to be easily moved: He struck the wall just so, and the weights shifted enough for the group to haul the door open.

A long stone hall stretched forward, with strange-looking groves in both the ceiling and the floor. The opposite end seemed likely to have a door similar to this one.

Miss Imogen looks for something that can wedge the door open. "Does anyone have an iron spike?" she asks, pointing a the hinge. "We wouldn't want to have this door close on us when we're in there." with her bow, she points to the dark corridor.

She will offer to stay in this room by the open door if others proceed in. "Best be cautious," she says.

"I do be have'n a spike for ye ta use, miss'um." Dellrak says hurriedly removing his pack. "But I have no hammer ta drive it through. Anyone?"

Dellrak fishes out a piton and gives it over while he puts his pack back into place.

"Indeed Miss Imogen. No more doors shutting down on us please! One moment, I'll fetch a rock... and I don't like the looks of those grooves..."

Handing over the spike, Dellrak starts forward slowly watching wearily for anything that might be a trap. Making his way to the end of the long hall and at the "other door" where he intends to listen.

Miss Imogen used Dellrak's spike to wedge the door, hammering it in with a rock given to her by Rodrigo. Harb glanced around the strange room. Rodrigo came to look with him, and together they identified that there were most probably blades hidden within the groves, deep in the dark recess - waiting to spring forth. Dellrak hugged the wall as he moved to the far side, carefully watching where he stepped. He listened at the far wall and could hear the sound of a shouting man echoing through the stone but he could not make out the words.
