Escella's eldritch bolts flew past Vairar and the others as they made their way up the stairs to help Lunn. Escella's control was great, even in the short time she'd had these strange magical powers, and she arched the bolts so they nearly cork-screwed around her allies and over the stair's railing, striking the feral gnoll who roared in pain and frustration.

OOC: Yup. 22 damage from Escella to Flind.

Vairar calls out murmuring as he goes to himself "Frigging barbarians, uncontrollable f...tactics into the wind."
before coming behind the orc and stabbing into the creature.
"Do you think this one will transform too?!"

"Hold on, Lunn, goddess is with us."
the words of encouragment are laced with healing magic that undo some of the damage.

Move: behind Lunn, trying to stay at reach and still leave space for others to get up
Action: Attack vs flind; damage; booming damage: 1d20+6 = [13]+6 = 19; 1d10+3+1d8 = [3]+3+[5] = 11; 2d8 = [4,7] = 11

Vairar moved up the stairs, climbing over the fallen bodies of two gnolls. He thrust his pike between two balcony rails (shattering them) and got the feral gnoll in the legs, who howled as if the pain was exciting to him.

OOC: Vairar did 11 & healed Lunn for 5.

With nothing more to be done in the lodge's great hall, the dwarves Helgrim and Grottur moved up the stairs as fast as their short legs could take them. Lionel was faster, pushing past them as they got to the top, breathing hard. The halfling crouched low under a boarded window on the landing and made note of the gnoll struggling in the sticky webs across the room.

OOC: Okay, moving on... they all dash.
