D&D 5E (IC) Scourge of Daggerford

Enseth, ORB1, & Snake

ORB1 flew into the bugbear's head from behind, knocking it's too-small helmet into it's eyes; the hairy creature barked and spun around. Enseth clanged forward and threw a javelin, but the bugbear saw it in time and calmly stepped to the side - just in time to have a small burst of flame hit him in the back. He howled as he was singed and again he spun around (slow to learn from his mistakes.)

"'Ooo did DAT!?" he hollered in broken common as Snake leaped out of his hiding spot and retreated to the cover of the large tree.

Angis Honack
Daggerford
Morning
Round 0

Angis charged up to the corner of the house, pulling up beside Drui.

“Oy, ye ugly brute!” he called. He muttered a spell, and a target seemed to glow on the bugbear’s chest that only he could see. “Eat this!”

Angis threw one of his axes at the bugbear’s chest, striking it square and true. Then he pulled out his dagger.

Angis, Titus & Morwin

As the bugbear made to charge after Snake, Angis lobbed a hand-axe over Drui's shoulder. The axe buried itself into the hairy brute's chest and (yet again) the bugbear spun, distracted by another opponent. The brute lurched forward as Morwin the Tressym flew over and pounced on its back.

Titus ran to join his familiar in a coordinated attack, but before he arrived, the bugbear succumbed to the pain of the axe-wound and fell on its face in the dirt. The winged cat sat on the bugbear's scorched hairy back and looked up proudly, as if he alone had defeated the creature.

Somewhere in the farmhouse, the sound the bugbear had made beating on his shield was being repeated.

Angis Honack
Daggerford
Morning
Round 0

Angis sheathed his dagger and jogged over to the dead bugbear and retrieved his axe. It was stuck in the monster’s muscled chest good, and he had to put his foot on it and yank it out hard, looking toward the farmhouse where the shield drumming was occurring now. How many of these bloody goblinoids were there?

Snake, Dandin, & Angis

Snake dashed across the scene and everyone was surprised to see how fast the catfolk could go in a brief sprint. Dandin marvelled at the feat, giggling to himself as he climbed into a bush on the side of the farmhouse's road.

Angis walked up to the bugbear and pulled out his axe. The hairy brute wheezed and it occurred to Angis that it may have lived if it had received medical attention, but not now that his axe was out. He shrugged as he turned to head back for cover. Suddenly, the door to the brewery slammed open and another large bugbear stumbled out.

It was clear that this creature was sodding drunk, though unfortunately not drunk enough to be unable to throw a javelin. It spun about looking for trouble and upon seeing Angis and Titus standing over its fallen ally, it threw a pointed stick at them, which grazed Angis' leg as the dwarf dove to the side, slamming into the little gate that belonged to an animal pen beside the farmhouse.

GM: @eayres33 Don't forget Tabaxi can double-move for "free"! You could also Dash and go 120 feet in one turn! Let me know if you want to be further than F11.
