Prickly Pear
Adventurer
Everything happened so quickly. First the orcs gathered around the red wizard, while Lionel sliced the nearest orc in the thigh. Next there was total darkness and suddenly there was a thunderous sound that stung his ears badly. This was not the place to stay, Lionel decided and after one more strike at the orc, he followed the wall out of the darkness and back to the group at the entrance. His nimble escape was aided by the darkness that even the orcs could not see through.
EDIT: Once back at the group, Lionel pulled up the hood of the wolf-pelt cloak and transformed into a wolf. He let out a long howl and was ready for next attack.
Con Save Thunderwave: 1D20+3 = [6]+3 = 9 Fail, so Lionel takes 24 (?) thunder damage (third level Thunderwave is 3d8, right? and therefore 24 for max damage?) but does not get pushed back 10 ft due to the wall behind him (?).
Action: Short sword attack (disadvantage) and damage: 2D20.LOW(1)+7 = [19, 10]+7 = 17, 1D6+4 = [6]+4 = 10
Move: Lionel follows wall and stops at Q39. Orcs' darkvision can’t see through the darkness spell and therefore can't make Attack of Opportunity.
Bonus Action: Pull up hood and turn into a wolf.
Reaction: Uncanny Dodge, if necessary.
(A creature with darkvision can’t see through the darkness spell, and nonmagical light can’t illuminate it.)
