Empower and Extent are pretty good.

I second that. I think that Extend spell was probably the best feat my Wizard ever took. It's a great way to make 1hr/lev spells last the whole day. And as an Incantatrix, your other party members will adore you when you extend their buffs.

what is the spellcraft dc on

What is the spellcraft dc on a Persistent Spell when u cast use it on u´r self

What is the spellcraft dc on a Persistent Spell when u cast use it on other´s

plz give me some examples!

It's 18 + 3x modified spell level, IIRC (don't have books here).

modified spell level is the level of the spell you want to make persistent plus 6 (the metamagic modifier of Persistent Spell).

So, for example, if you have a Shield spell running, and you want to make it persistent, you have to beat a Spellcraft DC of 39 (18 + 3x (1+6) = 39).

It's the same DC, no matter who was the target of the spell, but you have to keep in mind, that you normally cannot cast spells on others (other than your familiar, that is) and make them persistent, because of the limits of Persistent Spell (only really works with spells you cast on yourself).

Persistent spell works on spells with a personal or fixed range. However, he's probably thinking of the Cooperative Metamagic ability, which lets you apply a metamagic feat to someone else's spell as it's cast.

(And you could use the 3rd level Metamagic Effect ability to apply Persistent Spell to a range personal spell cast from a spell-storing item.)

The spellcraft is really diffficult for a Sorcerer due to his typically low Int. It's much easier for a Wizard.

For example, assume a Wizard with a starting Int of 16 who gets a +2 Headband at level 6, +4 at level 12, and +6 at level 18, and also puts his ability score boost into Int each time. He also maxes out Spellcraft every level:

1: 7
2: 9 (+2 synergy 5 ranks Knowledge Arcane)
6: 14
8: 17
12: 22
16: 27
18: 30

Having an 18 starting Int adds 1, having a Sun Elf adds 1, having Skill Focus adds 3, having Magical Aptitude adds 2, having Precocious Apprentice adds 2, etc.

The range for the DC is 21 to 45.

So, without casting a spell that adds to a skill, it's possible to make the DC on a fairly consistent basis except for the highest level spells.

But, a Sorcerer would typically be unwilling to max out Spellcraft to the exclusion of most other skills and would also typically have 6 to 10 less on the Spellcraft, even if he did max it out (Knowledge:Arcane synergy is tougher to get if you have an Int of 10 and 2 skill points per level and want to also take the Concentration skill). And, a Sorcerer would have a tough time assigning feats dedicated to Spellcraft.

DC 51 spellcraft wow

I am playing a 1 level wizard and are goinng to be a Incantatar, after 5 level.

I am planing to beat the DC, and i hope that i can make a 5 level spell Persistent
At 12 level (5 level wiz and 7 level Incantatar). The Spellcraft DC is 51 for a 5 level spell Is it possible ?

This is what i have done until now just to see if it can be done

Spellcraft bonuses
8 level 11 ranks in spellcraft
Int modiifyer 18 adds +4 to spellcraft.
Headbands of Intellect +6 adds +3 to spellcraft.
5 ranks of knowledge (arcana) adds +2 to spellcraft.
Skill Focus (Spellcraft) +3

Is this true?
According to the rules, +30 on a single skill check is the cap for a non-epic bonus

I do not have my books in front of me, but I do not think you are allowed to make a 5th level spell persistent since it would be the equivalent of an 11th level spell.

I was not aware that an Incantratrix could bypass the level limitations of spells, even for this ability.

Spellcraft bonuses

From an earlier thread, modified with latest books. (Suggestions welcome.)

Spellcraft bonuses

5 ranks of knowledge (arcana) adds +2 to spellcraft.

The following feats add to spellcraft:
Skill Focus (Spellcraft) +3
Magical Aptitude +2
Spellwise (Player's Guide to Faerun 44, Regional) +2
Complimentary Insight (Races of Destiny, Racial Half-Elf) +3 rather than +2 from knowledge (arcana)
Apprentice (Dungeon Master Guide II 176) +2 competence (spellcaster).
Precocious Apprentice (Complete Arcane 181) +2

The Spell domain (Spell Compendium 280) adds +2 to spellcraft.

Items:
Stone of Good Luck (20000 gp) +1 luck bonus to skill checks.
Pale Green Prism Ioun Stone (30000 gp) +1 competence bonus to skill checks.
Headbands of Intellect and Tomes of Clear Thought both add to Int.

Spells:
The mechanus mind spell (Sor/Wiz 2, Spell Compendium 140) adds a +2 competence bonus to Int based skil checks.
The master's touch spell (Brd/Clr/Sor/Wiz 2, Player's Handbook II 119) adds a +4 insight bonus to a single skill check.
The heroism spell (Sor/Wiz 3) adds a +2 morale bonus to skill checks.
The greater heroism spell (Sor/Wiz 6) adds a +4 morale bonus to skill checks.
The divine insight Spell (Cleric, lv 2, Personal, Spell Compendium 70) grants up to +15 to a single skill check.

The Marshall class (Miniature's Handbook) can pick an aura that allows him to add his Cha to all Int-based checks.

Races:
Illumians (Races of Destiny) have a "Power Sigil" ("naen") that adds +2 to Int checks
Deep Imaskari (Underdark), Gray Elves and Sun Elves (Forgotten Realms) get a +2 racial bonus to Int with no LA.
Spellscales (Races of the Dragon) can meditate on Io for a 24h racial bonus on spellcraft equal to half their character level. (Great choice for a sorcerer.)
