The Knight of the Dawn raises his voice and exclaims, " The power of the Light shall lay ye low! " as his body surges with righteous energy. He raises his right hand to cover his face and then pulls it away as two sizzling hot beams fire from his eyes at the shadowy figure.

OOC: Activated Smite Evil and attacked with Scorching Ray, which is a ranged touch attack. If one or both attacks hit and the target is outsider with the evil subtype or is undead, it takes an extra 2 damage as wll.

Edit: Actually, I forget to add an extra +1 to each attack to account for my Bless spell, so should be 24 touch and 20 touch.

A wirey whisp of a man with vhigh cheek bones and almond eyes strides forward, his airy, yellow and orange silk robes flowing behind him.
As Moru speaks,it is as whispers , a serpentine hwad and neck suddenly protrudes and echos the words. He folds his hands and the spreads them fanning in a vertical direction, aiming to enguf the single target.

"By the purging fire that is, shadow is not"

Burning hands + ring of mystic fire [ 5d4 + 4d6 (3 charges) ] dc 17 for half; if caster check is needed- vs 6 (int) + 10 (level/fire) =26

Valinn is taken completely by surprise as an assassin appears as though out of thin air and stabs the prelate. Although he is sure that the prelate is dead he keeps his healing aura on him as he directs a spell at the assassin. He aims his right palm at the shadow and a blast of light shoots towards the shadow.

[sblock=actions]cast Searing Light. Ranged touch attack, damage depends on creature type.[/sblock]

Stark stood still during the initial surge of activity; hundreds were gathered and over eager to rush into action to assault the obvious threat.
Stark choose to instead move around to the rear of the high alter while quickly peering for any additional individuals who were out of place, anyone who was leaving while not in a state of panic for example.

Assuming he could not find anyone out of place swiftly, he would join in on the assault briefly and swiftly before backing off just as swiftly and looking around once more.
Effective or not, a frontal attack of this kind did not sit well with Stark; it was far to brazenly bold
[sblock=actions]
Standard action: Look around for anything out of place
Move: Move towards the rear of the high alter

Asumming he dos not see anything:
Intended next full round action: Spring attack: using a flanking position if possible, and then move himself out of the way after the attack[/sblock]

If by some Miracle, the blows of the enraged party all strike true causing the shadowy figure to burst in cloud of dark energy a mocking hideieous voice adds "So easy to bait, so easy to Manuver, is this the best the light can send forth"

Every one roll a spell save dc 35 or take 60 points of negative energy damage.
