Leif's 'The Hall of the Rainbow Mage' [A] (D&D 3.5 OOC)

I just need to make sure I get things setup so Nilah at least marginally gets along with the party. I'm thinking he himself might not be particularly fond of mages(since he was always being punished for his lack of ability to learn arcane magic, being a Warlock and not a Wizard)
Yeah, that might be a good idea, considering the arcane make-up of this party!

Yikes, I just realized it's after midnight here, but I'm watching tv and playing a game on my lappy (try zombies vs. Plants for a good time ;))

ANyways, I think Jemal & I had posted something earlier about my PC trying to keep a drow on the right path, but also keeping him close should said drow slip back into his old ways my PC can put a swift blade in his back. (ok, I might have added that last part in ;)) I also envision the Blade as a more assassin style, strike from the shadows and dart away, the fast movement helps combined with sneak attack & spring attack.

Yeah, honestly I don't know where a warlock would fall in drow society. I know mages are esteemed, but warlocks weren't around when I was actually getting resources that had to do with the drow.

Right, that's fine. We'd just need to work out the specifics of their meeting and joining up and whatnot.

Lucky you. I'm sitting here working on my homebrew.

Considering the common folk's feelings about the drow, we may end up having to protect him from lynch mobs at every corner.

Game or beer? :D

That shouldn't be a problem here. We don't need that extra complication for a pc (unless he just WANTS it for some sick reason...;) ) I think we can assume that the occasional 'outcast drow' is not entirely unheard of.

LOL. I actually do both! But just my homebrew campaign setting tonight.

Fair enough, DM's discretion afterall. I just remember some of the remarks about Waterdeep, which is generally considered the most open city in the Realms: "Pretty much anyone will be let in, unless they are an orc, a drow, or a mindflayer."
