Lois and Clark- TNAoS questions

So when Lois and Clark - The New Adventures of Superman was first on, I tried to watch it, and couldn't. It just didn't grab me. Anyway, TBS is showing it in the mornings, and so far, it's pretty bad. It just finished the one where the globe of Krypton speaks to Clark. They don't seem to know what direction they want to go in, but they seem to do comedy better than anything else. My questions are:
Does the show get better from here?
Do any cool superbeings show up or is Clark the only one?
Is it worth it to keep watching?

Lois and Clark was designed to focus more on the daily lives of the two main characters and less about Superman.

So it ended up being more soap opera than superhero story. It does have some super people, but nothing spectacular.

I enjoyed it when it was on and watch it from time to time. It's all a matter of what you are looking for from it.

I recall liking it for some reason. I don't recall why. Could have been because Terry Hatcher was hot or I was starved for some TV-comic book adeptations...

I will say the stories were never the greatest, but it was a fun show. Kind of silly, but... that was kind of the point, I think.

I just finished another couple episodes, and I must say that althought I'm not a fan of either Cain or Hatcher, they both do funny pretty well. The silly episodes do seem better so far. I think I also need to slip out of expecting Smallville when I'm watching this.

I think it jumped the shark when Balki from Perfect Strangers played a supervillain.

I have to say I'm a big fan of the show. At least the early season. Once it went all comic-booky after the 'death' of Lex it fell appart though.

Wish I could get seasons 1 & 2 on DVD actually.

Terri Hatcher is hot!

I thought it was a cool show, up until he revealed to Lois about his double life.

I also thought the villainous Lex Luthor, played by John Shea, is cool.

Really, for much of the series, the best thing about it is the villainous Luthor. Once he was revealed and killed it went downhill badly.
