[LPJdesign] Haven: COV to Go D20 Modern!!!

One thing Psion said above that I think really needs to be stressed here:

More d20 Modern product helps everyone who makes d20 Modern products. This is essentially the concept behind the license to begin with. Even competing products improve the overall marketplace.

For my own part, I have always liked the idea of COV, and at the very least won't judge until I've seen the product itself.

I don't care what LPJ is like as a person. Most talented people are obnoxious and unstable to at least some degree... "a fine line between genius and madness" and all that. I have no idea where LPJ falls into that spectrum, nor do I particularly care. If Haven is good, then I wish it success. I haven't seen it, which is why I say he should offer a free pdf preview so we can all check it out. I don't like buying anything sight unseen.

I like pdfs, because I can't get a _____ reading a book off my computer!

Actually, it was a relief from a sadness that Dark Inheritance will abandon d20 Modern for Spycraft engine.

I don't bust Vigilance, or Dana_Jorgensen, or any other publisher who recommends their product to someone who ASKS about what to buy. But a press release (as seen in the style of the first post) doesn't belong here.

With all due respect, jezter6, if this board's moderator don't want that kind of post here, they will have already acted upon it.

But feel free to register as a moderator, if you wish to enforce that kind of ban. Or talk to Morrus regarding his board's CoC policy.

I asked when it was just the d20 Modern board for MORE mods to come check the forum out because it was NOT given the proper attention that IMHO was needed. I got shot down on that one.

I'm not criticising the mods here, but I DO wish they'd look at this forum as much as the others. If they are, and this is being left alone, then that's their opinion, but I doubt highly if this would fly in the general board where there are many more mods on a consistent basis.

In fact, since I've spoken up on numerous occasions, if the board gods that be would approach me to mod this forum, I'd be happy to. But until that happens, I'm not going to beg for modship.

No offense jezter, but you sound like an overeager hallway pass monitor, and that's a real turn-off. I think people hate self-appointed "police" even more than the alleged "offenders" they go after. I, for one, would not want you or anyone else with similarly zealous, anal-retentive tendencies in any kind of position of authority over ANYTHING, because you make yourself out to be a nagging _________.

Note: Robert Vaughn's Match Game card says "Wife", which I believe is the "definitive" answer to my fill in the blank.
