Well I don't think he was trying to pick you up. :p

Don't be too sure, Krieg. I felt like he'd _______ me all over with that fascist charisma of his.

I asked when it was just the d20 Modern board for MORE mods to come check the forum out because it was NOT given the proper attention that IMHO was needed. I got shot down on that one.

What is the definition of "attention"?

I think this board is one of the most cordial and friendly on all of ENWorld, and that we have lively discussions going with many fans *and* authors of d20 and d20 Modern games.

This seems like a good thing.

Psion and thatdarncat both frequently post here, and I'm sure they could get the board plenty of "attention" if it was warranted.

My input:

1) What a publisher pays his talent is between him and those people who work for him. If the payment is acceptable to that talent, what does it matter to you, the consumer? If you don't like what he pays, don't submit to him.

2) If you have a problem with a poster, be it a publisher or someone else, take it to the proper people and keep your outrage off the boards so the rest of us don't have to watch you embarrass yourself.

3) I find it odd that Louis gets smacked around because he used to put down d20 Modern but when he decides it's a viable product for his company he still gets smacked around. Is stating one's own product better than the competition not one of the rudiments of marketing? Even so, are people not allowed to change their minds? You slap him around in an effort to make him "see the light" that d20 Modern has merit as a system and when he begins putting out d20 Modern products you continue to slap him around. Great way to paint him into a corner for your amusement.

4) Buy the product or don't. Like Louis or don't. You have options in these situations. However, acting like a mature adult shouldn't be an optional situation.

I lost it with my first episode of MATCH GAME on the Game Show Network (GSN). They play it _____ times a day. Sometimes even different episodes!

Host Gene Rayburn clarifies just how much of the Game Show Network's daily schedule is made up of MATCH GAME reruns.

Welcome to you too!

Erm... Do i need to point out that your very first post is incredibly positive in a thread that is relatively negative. Do i also need to point out that your opinion is therefore suspect. Even more so the topic's starter becomes suspect when suddenly one-posters start showing up and praising your product.

Wow. Hello to you to Cergorach!
You sure know how to make a guy feel welcome.
Is that how you treat all the new guests around here? Maybe I will go back to only posting on the WOTC boards and The Game Mechanics boards. I am sure there are a few posters on this thread alone that know me from one of those boards.

So, there you go. My second post on this board. Happy? Now, would you like me to get negative with you? I most certainly can. I have been coming to these boards forever as a lurker. I do not appreciate your suspicious nature of my post nor your unwelcome attitude.

I wasn't trying to make you feel unwelcome, it's just that people who have spam tendencies also have the tendency to get friends to post on boards or even sign on as a new user just to make their product look better to others. It's not like we haven't seen that before...

If you are who you say you are, big hugs from everyone, if not... ;-)

Personally, I think Cergorach ______ one in the corner pocket when he said One-End was LPJ in disguise, but that's just me. :p

Keep the entertainment coming, people. I got plenty more MATCH GAME where this came from.

Who would be the proper people? Embarrass, i'm not embarrassed, why would i? ;-) It's not like i said anything that isn't true...

Lois didn't get smacked around for putting down D20 (Modern), he's getting smacked around for being rude to people who did enjoy it and when money got involved he does a 180 and starts spamming 'us'. Producing questionable quality products, over charging, but at the same time pay squat for their material. If he didn't like D20 (Modern), so be it, i'm not the thought police, to each his own. When people start being rude about it, i generally don't pay them any mind, unless of course they suddendly show up in places they once vowed never to be at. This is certainly not for my amusement, call it an infomercial.

4) Buy the product or don't. Like Louis or don't. You have options in these situations. However, acting like a mature adult shouldn't be an optional situation.
I actually might buy it, not because i'm such a big fan of the publisher, rather i would want to create an informed opinion about the product.

Acting like a mature adult is a meme that has evolved into different meanings for a lot of different people, one of those memes would say that acting like a mature adult would mean that you don't play childisch games like 'pretend' (aka. roleplaying). We all disregard those memes, now don't we ;-) What makes you think that your concept of "acting like a mature adult" comes even close to mine?
